Your work profile

• Lead functional discovery and workshops for order management processes, rules, and integrations.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities applicable to the future OMS model.
• Partner with architects and integration teams to clarify design impacts and dependencies.
• Support UAT planning and execution, including clarifying test scenarios, expected outcomes, and sign-off criteria.
• Drive end-to-end traceability of requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Mentor junior BAs and support readiness of business SMEs.

Key skills required

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Systems (SAP PS) Manager to lead SAP PS solution design, implementation, optimization, and support initiatives across complex business environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong functional expertise in SAP PS, deep understanding of end-to-end project lifecycle management, and experience managing cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagements.

The role requires collaboration with business leadership, project managers, finance teams, supply chain teams, and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable SAP-enabled project management solutions that improve project visibility, cost control, resource management, and operational efficiency.

SAP PS Solution Leadership

• Lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Project Systems solutions.
• Drive end-to-end SAP PS process transformation initiatives aligned with business objectives.
• Define SAP PS solution architecture and integration design across SAP modules.
• Provide strategic guidance on project governance, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and project execution processes.
• Ensure SAP best practices are adopted across project management functions.

Business Process Management

• Analyze and understand business requirements related to:
• Project planning
• Project execution
• Cost management
• Capital projects
• Customer projects
• Internal projects
• Resource planning
• Progress monitoring
• Revenue recognition
• Conduct workshops and requirement-gathering sessions with business stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and solution designs.

Ensure data consistency and business process continuity across integrated applications.

• Lead SAP PS implementation, rollout, migration, and transformation projects.
• Manage project scope, timelines, deliverables, risks, and dependencies.
• Support Fit-Gap analysis and solution blueprint development.
• Oversee system testing activities including:
• Unit Testing
• SIT
• UAT
• Regression Testing
• Support cutover planning and go-live activities.
• Drive post-go-live stabilization and hypercare support.

• Manage and mentor SAP consultants and functional analysts.
• Provide functional leadership to global and regional project teams.
• Coordinate with business users, PMOs, finance teams, and IT leadership.
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.
• Present project updates, solution recommendations, and status reports to leadership teams.
• Facilitate decision-making and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.

• Ensure adherence to organizational governance standards.
• Support audit, compliance, and control requirements.
• Maintain documentation including:
• Business Process Documents
• Functional Specifications
• Configuration Documents
• Test Scripts
• Training Materials
• Support change management and release management processes.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance, or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.

SAP Certifications (Preferred)

• SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP Project Systems
• SAP S/4HANA Project Systems Certification
• Other relevant SAP certifications

• 10+ years of SAP consulting experience with significant focus on SAP Project Systems.
• Multiple end-to-end SAP implementation lifecycle experiences.
• Experience in SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience leading global or regional transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing large-scale project portfolios and project accounting processes.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and team leadership.
