Manager Technology Architecture

Telenet's Technology Architecture team is looking for a Manager Technology Architecture to lead the team shaping the technology landscape that powers our future.

As Manager of the Technology Architecture team, you set the direction — and roll up your sleeves to help deliver it. You lead and grow a team of architects while remaining hands-on yourself: shaping the vision for Telenet's technology landscape and personally driving some of our most important tech architecture initiatives.

You connect strategy with execution, making sure Telenet's technology choices are future-proof, scalable, and aligned across domains. You'll own the frameworks that make this real — our Technology Radar, Technology Cockpit, and Architectural Guardrails — and use them to turn strategy into guidance that empowers teams to innovate with confidence.

You'll lead from the front on our biggest priorities: cloud migration, embedding agentic capabilities and technology governance frameworks that balance autonomy with alignment.

Your responsibilities as a Manager Technology Architecture

• You lead, coach, and grow the Technology Architecture team — setting direction, developing people, and creating space for architects to do their best work.
• You shape the vision for Telenet's technology landscape, and personally lead key architecture initiatives from concept through to impact.
• You own technology governance end to end, keeping the Technology Radar, Technology Cockpit, and Architectural Guardrails living, consistent, and consistently applied.
• You steer large-scale transformation initiatives such as cloud modernization and platform evolution.
• You drive technology decision-making, aligning experts, stakeholders, and delivery partners around clear, defensible choices.
• You ensure enterprise-wide architecture principles and guardrails are understood and applied across teams — maintaining coherence in both strategic and operational initiatives.
• You drive alignment between business ambition, architectural strategy, and technology execution, and represent the team's direction to leadership.

• Hands-on architecture expertise — you're a credible technologist who can shape a landscape vision and still get into the substance of the work.
• You have a strong strategic mindset, with the ability to translate business goals into architectural direction.
• You have proven experience in enterprise, solution, or technology architecture within complex environments.
• You have excellent communication and influencing skills, engaging both executive and technical audiences.
• You have a passion for simplifying complexity and making technology choices tangible.
• You have a collaborative spirit — you believe architecture, and leadership, are about connecting people as much as systems.
