Is this job info correct?

About Blue J Blue J is the leading generative AI solution for tax professionals and one of Canada's fastest-growing AI companies. Headquartered in Toronto, we're a high-growth B2B SaaS company building industry-leading tax research software that helps accountants find accurate answers to complex tax questions with greater speed and confidence. Backed by a $122M USD Series D funding round, we're scaling rapidly across North America and the UK while continuing to push the boundaries of what's possible with AI. By combining advanced technology with deep tax expertise, we empower tax professionals to work more efficiently, make better decisions, and deliver greater value to their clients. A Note on Location We are excited to meet with qualified candidates and are grateful for everyone's interest. Please note that this is a hybrid position requiring applicants to be within commuting distance of Toronto for in-person meetings 1-2 times a quarter. All candidates must be eligible to work in Canada. The Opportunity We're continuing to scale our go-to-market strategy and are looking for a Manager, Website & Conversion Optimization — a technically adept "site producer" who will play a key role in improving how our website supports demand generation, conversion, and growth. We're looking for a highly analytical, execution-oriented person to own the money pages, site architecture, navigation, page creation, performance, and CRO program that power Blue J's website. Reporting to the VP of Demand Generation and working closely with the Blue J Brand Team, this high-impact role is ideal for someone who takes initiative, brings a thoughtful and precise approach, and is motivated to continuously improve site performance. Website ownership at Blue J is split by design: this role owns the Demand Generation side of the site, including architecture, page creation, money pages, navigation, CRO experimentation, and performance reporting, while the Brand team owns content, creative, look and feel, and AEO/GEO oversight. You'll work closely with the Brand team, manage our agency relationships (including the technical execution partner), and be a key voice on UX and conversion as we head toward a likely CMS migration and brand refresh. What Success Looks Like in 12 Months Measurable improvement in visit-to-trial/demo conversion — a core focus of this role Increased speed and effectiveness of website experimentation A scalable measurement framework for digital performance Sound, scalable website architecture and platform, particularly with a likely CMS migration ahead Contributions to organic pipeline and AI-search visibility (AEO) are valuable outcomes of the work, while primary ownership of these areas sits with Brand What You’ll be Doing Website Ownership & Execution Own money pages, site architecture, sitemap, navigation, internal linking, page speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness Build and edit pages directly in Webflow, including landing pages and CMS management; familiarity with HTML is a plus, but not required Be a key partner on CTAs, funnels, and channel decisions that sit within Marketing, in coordination with Product on the post-signup handoff Manage vendor and agency relationships, including our technical execution partner, with a focus on building internal capability over time Bring strong UX/UI judgment to the work — you don't need to be a designer, but you should be comfortable reviewing Figma files through a conversion and user experience lens before they ship CRO & Experimentation Own and drive the A/B testing and CRO experimentation roadmap — a primary focus of this role — running experiments directly as well as in partnership with the product-led growth team Analyze website behaviour using tools such as Microsoft Clarity and heatmaps to identify friction points and optimization opportunities Develop hypotheses, run experiments, and measure their impact on conversion rates and engagement, starting with a focus on money pages and the homepage Share learnings and recommendations with the Marketing team and cross-functional stakeholders Analytics & Performance Reporting Own Google Analytics (GA4), Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager for the website Monitor website, campaign, and funnel metrics using GA4, HubSpot, Search Console, and related tools Translate data into actionable recommendations that improve digital performance and user experience Build dashboards and reporting frameworks for Marketing leadership What You Offer Blue J 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, web marketing, or performance marketing within B2B SaaS, including at least 2 years in a role with similar website ownership and CRO responsibilities Strong hands-on experience building and editing pages in Webflow Strong experience with conversion optimization, including owning A/B testing and CRO programs end-to-end Strong analytics experience, with deep proficiency in GA4, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager Strong project management experience, including managing agency and vendor relationships Strong UX/UI judgment, with the ability to evaluate designs through a conversion and user experience lens, even without a formal design background A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with a strong interest in continuously improving website performance Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely and effectively with Brand Comfortable leveraging AI tools and emerging technologies to drive efficiency, improve workflows, and stay ahead of industry trends Nice-to-Haves Experience supporting or managing complex CMS migrations is strongly preferred, given our current Webflow setup and the potential for a future brand refresh or site rebuild Familiarity with front-end development, including HTML and CSS Familiarity with SEO and AEO is a plus and can help strengthen collaboration with the Brand team What We Offer You A rare opportunity to to own and implement our end-to-end website and CRO strategy for Blue J A mission-driven culture where your work directly advances clarity, efficiency, and accessibility in tax research. Competitive base salary, stock options, and benefits designed to support you and your family. Flexibility in how you work: primarily remote, with occasional travel to our Toronto office and conferences as needed. A collaborative, ambitious, and supportive team that values innovation, respect, and fun. The excitement of a fast-growing, well-funded company with clear momentum, and the resources to back bold initiatives. The Core Values that Define Our Culture We are customer-focused We put team over self We are pleasant and playful We are open to better ideas We move fast and fix things What to Expect in the Interview Process We anticipate a high volume of applicants for this role and are excited to grow our team. A human will review each application and get back to you as soon as possible. We appreciate your patience and look forward to connecting with you! Interview Process Chat with Natalie, Sr. TA Manager Meet Stu M, CMO 30-minute deep dive with Amrita M., VP Demand Gen Meet Jessica F, Demand Generation Manager Present your case study Meet Ben, our CEO We believe our strength is built on diversity of thought, and encourage candidates from all backgrounds and experiences to apply. We value inclusiveness and are an equal opportunity employer. We do not discriminate based on race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status, veteran status, or disability status. We strive to create an inclusive and accessible hiring experience for all candidates. If you need any accommodations during the interview process, please let us know in your application. Our team is dedicated to providing the necessary support and making reasonable adjustments to ensure a smooth process for everyone. How We Use AI in Our Hiring Process To ensure transparency, we want candidates to know that Blue J uses AI-enabled tools within our applicant tracking system to help organize applications and highlight profiles that match the key requirements for each role. AI does not make hiring decisions. Every application is reviewed by a member of our Talent team, and all decisions throughout the process are made by humans. We use these tools to support efficiency and consistency, not to replace human judgment and we’re committed to a fair, thoughtful, and equitable experience for every candidate. Compensation The base pay range for this role is $95,000 - $120,000 CAD per year. This is a Level 4 in Blue J’s career level framework. We use levels to define the expected scope, autonomy, impact, decision-making, and experience for each role. Final compensation will be set fairly and thoughtfully based on experience, expertise, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities. While all candidates are expected to bring directly relevant experience, the top of the range is typically reserved for individuals who demonstrate exceptional depth in the role’s core competencies, a strong track record of impact in similar environments, and the ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy from day one.
