Are you passionate about shaping the future of the civil engineering profession and helping professionals thrive throughout their careers? The American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) is seeking a strategic, collaborative, and driven Manager, Workforce & Education to lead programs and initiatives that strengthen the civil engineering workforce and advance professional growth across the career lifecycle. What You'll Do Establish and implement annual strategies and goals to support broader pathways, recruitment and retention, and essential skills development in civil engineering, aligned with ASCE strategic priorities Develop and manage programs to define and promote evolving roles, competencies, and career pathways including ASCE's Civil Engineering Body of Knowledge, Guidelines for Engineering Grades, and career paths in a central online resource Lead and support the Committee on Career Advancement (CCA), Committee on Licensure Innovation (CLI), and workforce and education related task groups Coordinate educational content, white papers, articles, presentations, and workforce resources Manage budgets, timelines, events, reporting, and stakeholder communications Collaborate with committees, volunteers, staff, and external partners to address workforce challenges What You Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; engineering or management background a plus 3-5 years of engineering, association, workforce development, education, or related experience desired Strong project management and volunteer leadership experience Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and business systems Why ASCE?
