Role Description The Managing Director is a part-time, remote leadership role responsible for overseeing the strategic direction, operational performance, and overall impact of SOS Children’s Villages Egypt. On a day-to-day basis, the Managing Director leads strategic planning, ensures alignment with SOS Children’s Villages International standards, and supervises program implementation in Family-Like Care, Youth Empowerment, and Families’ Strengthening. The role involves managing budgets, overseeing resource allocation, and ensuring compliance with the requirements of the Egyptian Ministry of Social Solidarity and other relevant regulatory bodies. The Managing Director collaborates with internal teams, partners, donors, and stakeholders, providing clear guidance, fostering a culture of accountability and safeguarding, and ensuring that child protection policies are consistently applied. The role also includes monitoring key performance indicators, reporting to the board or governing bodies, and representing the organization in external forums, networks, and strategic partnerships.
