Managing Director - Board Engagement This is a Board Match-Up position. SHOW INTEREST Managing Director - Board Engagement Summary: The Managing Director - Board Engagement is a leadership role responsible for driving board engagement and business development efforts within a specific region for Board Match-Up. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience and senior-level contacts, specifically within boards, CEOs, HR leaders, private equity funds, and related stakeholders. The Managing Director will represent Board Match-Up, establish and nurture relationships, and seamlessly connect with leaders to generate recruiting mandates. Responsibilities: Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy to engage with boards, CEOs, HR leaders, private equity funds, and other influential stakeholders. Drive business development efforts to generate recruiting mandates and revenue growth for Board match-ups within the assigned region. Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and industry leaders, leveraging senior-level contacts to secure new mandates and expand the company's network. Serve as the primary point of contact and representative of Board Match-Up, promoting the company's services and value proposition to potential clients. Conduct in-depth meetings, presentations, and negotiations with clients to understand their requirements, showcase Board Match-Up's capabilities, and win mandates. Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities related to board appointments and executive recruiting within the assigned region. Collaborate closely with the internal recruitment team, providing them with comprehensive client briefings and ensuring a smooth transition of mandates into the recruitment process. Represent Board Match-Up with the utmost professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all client interactions and business dealings. Monitor and report on regional business development activities, including pipeline management, conversion rates, and revenue generation, providing regular updates to the management team. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred). Extensive experience in business development, relationship management, or senior-level sales roles, ideally within the executive search or recruitment industry. Proven track record of building and maintaining strategic relationships with boards, CEOs, HR leaders, private equity funds, and related stakeholders. A strong network of industry contacts within the assigned region and the ability to leverage those contacts for business development purposes. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of Board Match-Up. Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to influence and persuade senior executives. Deep understanding of board dynamics, corporate governance, and executive recruitment processes. Strong leadership qualities, with experience in leading and motivating a team. Self-driven, results-oriented, and able to work independently, with a proven ability to meet targets and drive revenue growth.
