Manual Test Engineer

Job Description: We are looking for a Manual Test Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in software testing. The candidate must have strong experience in manual testing along with at least 1+ year of hands-on experience in API testing . Key Responsibilities: Perform manual testing of applications including functional and regression testing. Create and execute test cases and test scenarios based on requirements. Identify, report, and track defects using defect management tools. Perform API testing using tools like Postman or similar . Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure product quality. Mandatory Requirements: 2–5 years of experience in Manual Testing . Minimum 1+ year of hands-on experience in API Testing is mandatory. Candidates without practical API testing experience will not be considered . If a candidate has only theoretical knowledge of API testing , the profile must be reviewed and approved by the hiring manager before scheduling an interview . Required Skills: Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Bug Life Cycle . Good to have in Manual mobile testing experience. Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports . Hands-on experience with API testing tools (Postman, Swagger, etc.) . Good knowledge of HTTP methods, request/response validation, and status codes . Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies . Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
