Here, you will find more than just a job—you will find purpose and pride.
About the Role
Are you passionate about ensuring products are available when customers need them while driving supply chain performance and business results? As a Market Planner, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing finished goods inventory across assigned markets, countries, or regions. You will balance customer service, inventory investment, working capital, and supply risks while partnering with teams across Commercial, Demand Planning, Network Planning, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Customer Service.
This highly visible role offers the opportunity to influence key business decisions, solve complex supply challenges, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
What You'll Do
- Own the health and performance of finished goods inventory within your assigned markets, ensuring the right balance between customer service, inventory investment, working capital, and inventory productivity.
- Develop and execute inventory and deployment strategies in partnership with Network Planning to ensure product availability while achieving service and inventory objectives.
- Monitor and drive performance against key supply chain KPIs, including service levels, backorders, inventory health, reserve exposure, inventory turns, excess and obsolete inventory, and supply chain costs.
- Lead inventory balancing, redeployment, and inventory reduction initiatives to optimize inventory utilization and mitigate excess, slow-moving, or at-risk stock.
- Proactively assess supply risks, identify supply-demand imbalances, develop recovery plans, and escalate significant issues through established governance and S&OE processes.
- Manage purchase orders and inbound supply execution, including tracking shipments, expediting deliveries, and coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve supply issues.
- Recommend and implement allocation and demand management strategies during supply constraints, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities, customer commitments, and business objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Commercial, Demand Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, and Supply teams to communicate risks, align priorities, and drive issue resolution.
- Support product lifecycle activities, including new product launches, manufacturing changes, product transitions, quality releases, relabeling activities, import requirements, and end-of-life management.
- Analyze supply and inventory performance, identify root causes of recurring challenges, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that enhance service, operational performance, inventory productivity, and supply chain efficiency.
- Support financial planning through inventory forecasting, reserve management, monitoring inventory-related financial risks, and driving actions that improve working capital performance.
What You'll Bring
- Strong customer focus, business acumen, and a results-driven mindset.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess inventory risks, financial exposure, and working capital impacts.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning principles, including inventory management, deployment planning, and S&OE processes.
- A continuous improvement mindset and passion for identifying opportunities and implementing sustainable solutions.
- Experience working with planning systems, ERP platforms, and analytical tools.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, resolve conflicts, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills across cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions, manage escalations, and drive resolution within a matrix organization.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (ideally), Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of planning experience (Supply, Demand, Inventory, or Deployment Planning), or 4-5 years of experience in Customer Service, Transportation, Logistics, or other Supply Chain roles.
- Proven experience managing inventory and supply performance, including inventory optimization, allocation strategies, network balancing, and supply risk mitigation in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning systems (e.g., Kinaxis Maestro), ERP platforms, and business intelligence tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Strong ability to analyze service, inventory, cost, and operational performance metrics to drive data-based decisions.
- English proficiency required.
