The Philadelphia office of Cozen O’Connor is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to provide day-to-day marketing and administrative support for the firm’s Ancillary Business Units (ABUs). The successful candidate will assist with social media, events, reporting, marketing materials, internal communications, website updates, and other routine marketing activities. This position is well-suited for someone who is dependable, organized, comfortable managing recurring tasks, and interested in learning more about marketing and business development in a professional services environment. This is a hybrid position, reporting to the Philadelphia office.
Assist with updating and maintaining marketing collateral, business descriptions, web content, and event listings.
Assist with seminars, webinars, conferences, sponsorships, speaking opportunities, and other ABU events, including logistics, marketing materials, shipping, giveaways, event listings, and related administrative support.
Assist with researching and coordinating business leaders’ participation in speaking engagements, panels, conferences, and industry events.
Assist in weekly case law alerts, social media content calendars, and monthly newsletters.
Collaborate with marketing, communications, creative, and ABU team members and assist with additional marketing and administrative duties as needed.
Maintain organized marketing files, event information, speaking, award submissions, contact lists, and recurring task trackers.
Assist with content organization, internal approvals, and routine updates.
Coordinate and organize promotional items and swag for events.
Track participation and results for various social media and other contests.
Support employee anniversary, holiday, and other business-appropriate communications by gathering anniversary dates, creating draft posts, and entering items.
Update ABU style guides and work toward maintaining them in a consistent format.
Compile monthly social media performance reporting for all ABUs at the end of each month.
Capture or obtain event photos when appropriate and post approved content to Compass, the firm’s internal intranet.
Post ABU events to internal channels.
Identify business- and industry-related articles that may be appropriate to share for businesses
A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
Prior marketing, communications, administrative, or business development experience is helpful.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Familiarity with social media platforms, Monday.com, website content systems, or reporting tools is a plus.
Must be professional, dependable, and willing to learn, with good judgment and basic problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with multiple businesses, team members, and departments.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and the ability to prepare clear, professional internal and external communications.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to keep recurring assignments, deadlines, files, and approval steps organized.
Shows initiative, follows through on assignments, asks questions when needed, and is willing to learn new tools and processes.
The salary range for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 and represents the Firm's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's relevant experience, qualifications and location.
