Marketing Assistant EMEA - Shaw Contract

Position Overview

Shaw Contract believes innovative design inspires change. The way we live, work, think, create and heal - all made better by design. As a global design leader for commercial spaces, our Cradle-to-Cradle Certified products perform in commercial spaces around the world and are engineered for beauty, durability and sustainability. We have EMEA offices on London, Paris and Dubai. The commercial brand of Shaw Industries, Shaw Contract combines the expertise of the world’s largest carpet manufacturer with the financial stability of a Berkshire Hathaway company, with more than $5 billion in annual sales and approximately 18,000 associates worldwide.

The Marketing Assistant EMEA provides hands-on creative, administrative and coordination support to the Marketing team across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. This is a varied, fast-paced role for someone who is creative, organised, proactive and detail-focused, with a strong eye for visual communication. A key part of the role will be creating and adapting visual content and marketing materials, while also taking ownership of smaller projects, coordinating day-to-day marketing activity and supporting the London Showroom. The successful candidate will be comfortable taking a brief, getting on with the work and seeing tasks through to completion, while working closely with the Marketing team for direction and approval. This is a hybrid role based from our Shaw Contract London Showroom at 33 Great Sutton Street, 9-5:30 pm with a minimum of three days per week in the office, ideally Monday through Wednesday, and remote working for the remainder.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and adapt on-brand visual content and marketing materials for digital and print use, including social media posts, Reels, presentations, invitations, agendas, signage, event materials and sales support collateral.
  • Take ownership of smaller marketing projects from brief through completion, ensuring work is delivered accurately and on time and reviewed and approved before external use.
  • Support the Marketing team with day-to-day marketing activities, promotions, product launches, campaigns and quick-turnaround requests.
  • Produce lighter graphic design work and support the formatting, editing and adaptation of existing creative assets while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Coordinate with aligned dealers, external agencies, printers and suppliers on marketing materials, campaigns and smaller projects.
  • Maintain the team's marketing project tracker and to-do lists in Monday.com, keeping projects updated, following up on outstanding actions and flagging timeline risks.
  • Manage and organise digital assets, image libraries, marketing literature and collateral, including monitoring stock levels and coordinating orders.
  • Support budget administration, including tracking marketing spend and processing invoices and purchase orders.
  • Support marketing activity within the London Showroom and other EMEA showrooms, including events, visitor-facing materials and on-the-day event support, and provide showroom cover during planned or unplanned absences.
  • Provide regular project updates, maintain accurate records and communicate proactively with the Marketing team, dealers, showrooms and internal stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience and proficiency in using Canva and/or Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple small projects at once
  • Eye for design, layout, typography, imagery and visual detail.
  • Comfortable using project management tools such as monday.com (or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Proactive, can-do attitude and willingness to get hands-on
  • Comfortable working collaboratively and seeking guidance when required

Highly Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a marketing, creative, or design-related role or degree
  • Experience in managing businesses across broader geographic regions, including Central Europe and/or the Middle East & Africa.
  • Understanding of brand guidelines and visual consistency
  • Experience supporting events or showroom environments
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
