Show job description

In 2017, our founders started Sarwa due to a lack of financial services offered to most of the world, and out of a need to help empower people in the region to invest in their financial future. Sarwa is poised to continue growing into the go-to platform for people to grow their wealth.

We do this through expert, affordable and easy investing. We're a small team working on the region's first and fastest growing investment and personal finance platform, making investing easy, low-cost and transparent, with a human touch woven into every step of the process.

We are a remote-first team. Where you choose to work is up to you — we have an office in Abu Dhabi that you can utilise as often or little as you'd like.

We are looking for a Marketing Associate that keeps Sarwa's marketing on (or ahead of) schedule. You'll own the content calendar and publishing across our channels, and help get product launches, campaigns and partnerships out the door. The role also includes ideating and writing, with plenty of room to experiment with content.

What you'll do

  • Run the marketing board. Track social content and campaigns from brief to launch.

  • Support product launches end to end. Pull together the full set of launch comms (email, in-app pop-ups, push, social, help centre and FAQs), make sure every asset is ready, and line it all up for launch day.

  • Execute campaigns. Set up and QA campaign emails, in-app flows and landing pages, and keep teams across the company updated and aligned on what's going live and when.

  • Publish and schedule. Upload, format and schedule content across social, email, the app, and the newsletter. Check every detail before it goes live.

  • Manage the compliance workflow. Submit content and campaigns for review, track feedback and versions, and make sure nothing goes out without sign-off.

  • Support partnerships and events. Work with the team leads on creator and influencer collaborations, webinars and events. Help prepare briefs, track timelines.

  • Support shoots. Work with our content team to prepare scripts, get approvals and set schedules, so every shoot day runs smoothly.

  • Own the daily newsletter. Write and send the daily brief, along with the daily push notification.

  • Report on performance. Pull channel and campaign numbers into a regular snapshot, and analyse insights to support team strategy.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English Literature or a related field. Fresh graduates and early-career applicants are welcome.

  • A track record of keeping many moving pieces on schedule.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Clear, natural writing in English.

  • An interest in investing and how people think about money.

  • Comfort with marketing tools, or the ability to pick them up quickly: email/CRM platforms, scheduling and analytics tools, a CMS and project boards (ActiveCampaign, Sprout Social, ClickUp, etc.).

  • Calm, direct communication with writers, designers, product, compliance and external partners.

  • Enthusiasm to learn and grow. You ask questions, take feedback well and want more responsibility over time.

Some of our benefits:

  • Remote and flexible work environment

  • Diverse, driven and supportive team with a positive work atmosphere (one of our core values)

  • A culture of growth - being mentored, coached and supported to grow in your career

  • Great company healthcare package with dental and optical coverage

  • Learning and development budget

  • Equity plan for all employees.
