The Marketing Automations Specialist will work on our marketing development team. The role requires expertise in designing and building data flows, customer journeys, and custom solutions on various marketing automation platforms. Candidates must be comfortable managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.

AS A MARKETING AUTOMATIONS SPECIALIST, YOU WILL:
- Design, build, and maintain automated email and multi-channel workflows
- Manage campaigns across multiple marketing automation platforms
- Create segmented audiences and build dynamic flows using customer data
- Collaborate with internal teams and clients to architect solutions
- Communicate clearly (both written and verbal) with other team members and clients on all automations and custom solutions
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve client marketing automation issues
- Learn new email automation tools to meet our clients needs
- Approach challenges with a solutions-first mindset, thinking beyond the immediate task to the most effective, scalable fix
- Embrace change with a positive attitude and advocate for change when you see opportunity for improvement
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of experience developing and managing marketing automation workflows
- Hands-on proficiency with at least two of the following: Marketing Cloud, Braze, Klaviyo, Eloqua, Attentive, HubSpot
- Deep understanding of data integration, segmentation strategies, and managing data flows
- Advanced knowledge of templating/personalization languages (AMPscript, Liquid, Django-style templating, HubL/Jinja2)
- Experience working directly with clients or cross-functional stakeholders, must be comfortable presenting results and fielding questions
- Understanding of customer funnel and key performance indicators
- Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and SQL
BONUS SKILLS:
- Agency or client-services experience
- Experience developing solutions in SSJS
- Experience with QA and user experience testing
- Familiar with email deliverability tools and strategies
- Relevant certifications

OFFICE INFORMATION:
Leap Event Technology is a 100% remote-friendly company. However, we do offer the option of working in the office for employees located in Montréal (CAN), Pittsburgh (U.S.), Dallas (U.S.), Sydney (AUS). All of our offices are stocked with snacks and drinks and we provide a free lunch every week. We offer a monthly travel stipend, and even host the occasional themed party and happy hour!
If you don’t live near an office but happen to be visiting nearby, you can work from the office for as long as you need.

Leap Event Technology requires all Event Operations employees and contractors who will be representing the company at a client event to be fully vaccinated at least two weeks prior to attending.
