Responsibilities

• As the Communications and Social Media Specialist, you will be supporting the development and execution of external communication strategies and managing our online presence through various social media platforms. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining and enhancing our company brand. If you are a passionate and talented professional with a keen eye for detail and a flair for creative communication, this role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our growing success.
• Develop and execute external communication strategies to inform and engage current and potential employees.
• Collaborate with department leaders to create content for external news stories, case studies, social media posts, and webinars.
• Utilize SharePoint for effective document management and utilize click-up for scheduling and calendar management.
• Manage and maintain social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
• Create and implement social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and engagement.
• Develop or work with team members to create compelling content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, aligned with company messaging.
• Generate engaging content for various platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice.
• Monitor industry trends to tailor content for relevance and impact.
• Monitor social media channels for mentions, trends, and conversations, responding promptly.
• Analyze social media metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Utilize analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of internal communication strategies.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive communication efforts.
• Collaborate with external partners, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify our online presence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
• 2-4 years demonstrated experience in communications and social media.
• Proven experience in communications and social media management, with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
• Knowledge of analytics tools for social media tracking.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools (Adobe or Canva) and basic video editing skills.
• Familiarity with Hootsuite or other comparable social media marketing management tools.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Candidate should be prepared to illustrate their work through a portfolio and/or website/social media platform.
• Willing to travel to local office in Holden, MA 1-2 times per week.

$58,700-$67,000
