Marketing Coordinator, Rosso Coffee Group
Full-time · Melbourne-based (remote, with on-site days in North Melbourne when required) · $70,000 AUD
You must live in Melbourne to apply. You can work remotely, but you'll need to come into our North Melbourne roastery when required: for events, meetings with café owners and on-site content. We are not considering interstate or overseas applicants.
About Rosso
Rosso Coffee Group is a Melbourne coffee business with a North Melbourne venue, a wholesale coffee arm supplying cafés and bars, and a Shopify e-commerce brand.
The job
You'll own three commercial outcomes, not a task list:
- Wholesale SQLs: qualified opportunities created in GoHighLevel. This is the top priority.
- North Melbourne venue sales
- Shopify revenue
The infrastructure already exists: Klaviyo, GoHighLevel, brand assets and SOPs. Your job is to run it and make it perform, not build it from scratch.
You'll work closely with the founder and our external marketing strategy team, particularly in the beginning. But the goal is for you to quickly become capable of holding the marketing plan yourself, even when new requests, ideas and distractions appear during the week.
What you'll own
Own the marketing game plan
- Keep North Melbourne sales, wholesale SQLs and Shopify revenue visible, prioritised and moving.
- Know what we're doing, why it matters and what we are deliberately choosing not to do.
Build the wholesale funnel (top priority)
- Use Rosso's existing café-owner community, targeted outreach, events, campaigns and high-touch follow-up to create qualified SQLs inside GoHighLevel.
- Help plan and run our wholesale events in Melbourne: monthly community gatherings at the roastery, a quarterly speaker series and trade shows. That covers invites and RSVPs, filtering sign-ups, signage and print, on-the-day setup and QR lead capture, then follow-up so no lead goes cold.
Grow North Melbourne sales
- Build and run campaigns that generate demand for the venue through email, paid media, offers, events, database activity and other commercially sensible channels.
- Success is measured in sales, not vanity metrics.
Grow Shopify revenue
- Own the obvious conversion and retention opportunities first, including Klaviyo flows, broadcasts, campaigns, landing pages, offers and customer journeys. Then keep testing what moves revenue.
Run paid campaigns
- Manage ongoing Meta advertising and the current budget, starting at around $1,000–$1,200 per month.
- Know what the spend is returning and make decisions accordingly.
Run the email rhythm
- Maintain regular broadcasts and campaigns across venue, wholesale and e-commerce audiences while continuing to improve the existing lifecycle flows.
Own campaign production
- Take ideas from plan → brief → asset → launch → measurement → improvement.
- Use Canva, AI and the existing brand resources to move quickly without needing a specialist for every small asset.
Make the marketing stack work harder
- Help move the appropriate workflows, lead capture, automation, reporting and pipeline activity into GoHighLevel.
- Keep the CRM clean: every lead tagged, in the right pipeline and followed up, with the cost and return of each event tracked.
Must-have skills
- GoHighLevel (highly preferred), Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Ads, Canva
- AI tools used as genuine leverage
- Marketing analytics and reporting
- Lives in Melbourne and can get to North Melbourne when required, including some event weekends
Bonus: hospitality, local-area or community marketing, event planning, lifecycle marketing, B2B lead generation.
Who fits
- Commercially minded
- Holds the line against scope creep
- Figures things out without needing every step documented
- Manages up well with an idea-generating founder
- A hands-on generalist, happy running event logistics one day and CRM data the next
