Overview
ENERCON's Marketing group is seeking an energetic, highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This full-time, entry-level position is designed for an organized, detail-oriented professional who is interested in developing a career in marketing within the Data Center and/or Mission Critical Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role will be hybrid and can be based out of the following office locations.
- Atlanta, GA (Cobb County)
- Peachtree Corners, GA
- Remote from withing the US
The Marketing Coordinator supports the DCMC Marketing team through proposal production, marketing data and knowledge management, presentations, collateral development, and conferences and events.
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and writer who enjoys organizing information, learning new systems, and working collaboratively. This individual should be comfortable managing multiple assignments and deadlines and have a strong desire to learn and grow professionally. Experience with Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint are preferred.
Responsibilities
Proposals & Pursuits
- Support the development and production of professional responses to RFPs, RFQs, qualifications packages, letter proposals, presentations, and other pursuit materials.
- Review RFPs to identify submission requirements, required forms, evaluation criteria, deadlines, and other compliance requirements.
- Assist with developing proposal outlines, compliance checklists, schedules, and initial InDesign documents.
- Gather project, personnel, technical, and company information needed for proposal responses.
- Coordinate with Marketing team members and technical professionals to obtain required proposal content.
- Format, proofread, edit, and perform quality-control reviews of proposal materials.
- Support proposal production and final submission requirements.
- Maintain organized records of completed proposals and pursuit materials.
Marketing Data & Knowledge Management
- Gather, organize, enter, and validate project, personnel, client, and marketing data.
- Build and maintain a comprehensive project experience library for the Energy group.
- Develop and update project profiles, project sheets, resumes, qualifications, and other reusable marketing content.
- Organize project experience by market, service, client, project type, and technical capability to improve accessibility for future pursuits.
- Maintain personnel information, including experience, qualifications, certifications, and relevant project history.
- Maintain reusable proposal content, boilerplate language, and supporting marketing resources.
- Research historical projects and past proposals to identify relevant experience and qualifications.
- Coordinate with project managers and technical professionals to identify and fill gaps in project information.
- Capture information from new projects and completed work to continually expand the team's marketing knowledge base.
- Maintain proposal and project archives using established file structures and naming conventions.
- Perform CRM data entry, maintenance, and quality control to support accurate client, project, contact, and opportunity information.
Presentations, Creative & Collateral
- Assist with the development of qualifications presentations, client presentations, conference materials, brochures, and other marketing collateral.
- Provide document layout and basic graphic-design support using Adobe InDesign and other Creative Cloud applications along with Microsoft PowerPoint.
- Maintain established brand standards across marketing materials.
- Update templates and existing collateral in coordination with the Marketing team.
- Support the development of graphics and other visual content for proposals and presentations.
Conferences, Events & Communications
- Support Energy participation in conferences, tradeshows, client events, and other industry activities.
- Assist with registrations, sponsorships, logistics, shipping, marketing materials, and event-specific collateral.
- Coordinate with Marketing and technical professionals to support event preparation.
- Assist with internal and external communications and content-development activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Graphic Design, English, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- One (1) year of marketing internship or professional experience preferred
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to gather information from multiple sources and organize it in a clear, consistent, and usable manner
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Adobe InDesign
- Experience with CRM systems, databases, or content-management systems preferred
- Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to receive feedback and apply it to future assignments
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about Energy markets, clients, projects, and technical services
- Desire to learn and grow professionally within the AEC industry
