WHO WE ARE:
ROAR B2B is part of CloserStill Media, and we're the team behind some of the UK's most important industry events. From tackling environmental challenges at the Environmental Services & Solutions Expo, to advancing accessibility at Naidex, to connecting marketing leaders at B2B Marketing Live, our shows bring together the decision-makers, innovators and problem-solvers working in Environment, Healthcare and Business Technology.
Our events aren't just about networking. They're where real solutions get started and where industry leaders want to get involved. We're growing fast, with new events planned across the UK and internationally, and we believe good work happens when brilliant people collaborate, challenge each other and enjoy what they do.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
You're energetic, ambitious and you love a target. You get a real buzz from being successful, and you're comfortable picking up the phone or talking to people face to face at our events.
You're creative and always thinking about how to make the next campaign better. You know that past attendees are our best advocates, and you're happy to keep those relationships warm and turn interest into bookings.
THE ROLE:
Run Campaigns That Bring People In
Run email campaigns that drive delegate bookings and visitor registrations, using HubSpot
Create social posts and adverts for organic and paid campaigns
Design simple graphics and banners in Canva, in line with brand guidelines
Write copy for emails, social, web pages and blogs in our brand voice
Build and manage audience data, including past attendee and delegate lists
Research your audience and the hot topics in their industries
Win Back and Win Over Delegates
Call past attendees, lapsed delegates and warm prospects with personal outreach
Remind people why they loved the event, tell them what's new this year, and turn interest into bookings
Follow up with tailored emails, booking links and offers
Handle inbound delegate enquiries by phone and email, and make every customer's experience a good one
Spot group bookings and upgrade opportunities to premium passes and packages
Measure and Feed Back
Report on campaign performance: open rates, social engagement, registrations and delegate sales by channel
Keep accurate records of conversations and bookings in HubSpot
Share what customers tell you so we can shape our messages, offers and pricing
Work as One Team
Work closely with marketing, sales, content and operations so every campaign and conversation is working towards the same goals
Support the team onsite at our events
ABOUT YOU:

Energy, enthusiasm and a genuine drive to succeed
An interest in marketing and a willingness to keep learning about our events, industries and audiences
A creative, proactive approach to campaigns
Excellent written and verbal communication

Motivation from targets and from seeing the results of your work
Resilience, and the ability to bounce back quickly from a "no"
Strong organisation and attention to detail across campaigns, data and follow-ups
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
An agile mindset and a taste for fast-paced work
Desirable:
Some marketing experience from a previous role, internship or placement, such as email or social
Customer-facing, telemarketing or target-driven experience
