Job Description

About AXA:

AXA is a global leader in insurance and financial services, dedicated to helping customers protect what matters most to them. As the sixth-largest insurance company in the world, we provide a wide range of services, including health, car, home, and business insurance. We support millions of customers worldwide, helping them navigate life's uncertainties with confidence.

AXA UK Support Functions look after our three customer-facing business units, providing the infrastructure and expertise to make sure we can be there for our customers.

Job overview:

Lead the transformation of insight across AXA UK. As Marketing Insight Transformation Lead, you’ll bring research, data and measurement together, creating a clearer enterprise view of customers, markets and reputation. You’ll shape the Marketing insight roadmap and turn complex evidence into decisions that improve business and marketing outcomes, strengthen strategic choices and support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop our Marketing insight, research, data, marketing measurement and evaluation capabilities.
  • Set and embed an insight strategy and roadmap aligned to business, brand, communications, reputation and sustainability priorities.
  • Oversee high-quality qualitative and quantitative research, translating findings into focused, actionable recommendations.
  • Influence senior leaders by making complex data clear, relevant and useful for strategic and commercial decisions.
  • Improve measurement of marketing and communications activity, including effectiveness, impact and return on investment.
  • Break down data silos, strengthen data quality and governance, and promote shared customer and market intelligence across AXA UK.
  • Champion new tools, AI-assisted analytics and modern insight practices where risk, security and compliance requirements are met.

Work arrangements:

At AXA we work smart, empowering our people to balance their time between home and the office in a way that works best for them, their team and our customers. You'll work at least two days a week (40%) away from home, moving to three days a week (60%) from December 2026. Away from home means attending the office, visiting clients or attending industry events. We’re also happy to consider flexible working arrangements, which you can discuss with Talent Acquisition.

Your skills & experience:

  • Extensive experience in marketing, reputation or stakeholder insight is required.
  • Demonstratable strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research, measurement and data visualisation is needed.
  • Track record of leading and developing insight teams.
  • Confidence to influence senior stakeholders with clear, evidence-based recommendations.
  • Ability to combine strategic and commercial thinking with strong data-governance awareness and the curiosity to modernise insight practices in a complex, regulated organisation.

As a precondition of employment for this role, you must be eligible and authorised to work in the United Kingdom.
