We’re preparing for our soft launch and looking for a creative, proactive Marketing & Content Intern to help shape how people discover and experience our brand.
What you’ll do
Working directly with the founders, you’ll help turn WhimWork’s brand into content, conversations and early traction. Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating content for Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, including posts, short-form videos and launch updates.
- Helping develop our brand voice, visual consistency and content calendar.
- Researching potential customers, vendors and communities, and supporting personalised outreach.
- Developing content that showcases vendors and gives people ideas for their events.
- Supporting launch campaigns and testing different messages and content formats.
- Tracking engagement, enquiries and sign-ups to understand what works.
We’ll agree on priorities together, with social content and launch support as the initial focus.
Who we’re looking for
You might be a good fit if you:
- Enjoy writing, storytelling and creating content for social media.
- Have an eye for design and can use tools such as Canva or CapCut.
- Are curious about startups, events and how brands grow.
- Take initiative, communicate clearly and follow through on tasks.
- Are comfortable trying ideas, receiving feedback and adapting.
Experience managing a student organisation’s account, creating personal content or promoting an event is welcome. You don’t need previous internship experience or a marketing degree.
What you’ll gain
- Hands-on experience helping launch an events marketplace.
- Direct collaboration with the founders and room to contribute your own ideas.
- Ownership of projects you can build into your portfolio.
- Experience across content creation, brand development, outreach and campaign analysis.
