About Trigger.dev

Trigger.dev is an open source platform used by developers to build production-grade AI agents. It's an SDK and the infrastructure to run agents reliably at scale, so teams can focus on the product instead of the plumbing.

Our Cloud product is a managed service where we deploy our users' code and auto-scale from zero to millions of executions. With the rise of AI, being able to offload async tasks reliably is a key part of any developer's toolkit - we're building the infrastructure to make that a reality.

About the position

We're looking for a Marketing Lead to own growth marketing at Trigger.dev: influencer partnerships, GEO/SEO, and the bold, high-visibility campaigns that get us noticed.

Rather than spreading effort thin across five channels, we want someone who picks one or two and goes deep. You'll have real budget and autonomy to run steady channel work alongside genuine "big swing" ideas.

What you'll be doing

You'll do a variety of things including:

  • Owning influencer marketing beyond our existing activity, using tools like Plug.dev to find, manage, and measure partnerships

  • Driving GEO/SEO strategy and execution

  • Planning and executing high-impact "big swing" campaigns - think an SF billboard, or premium merch sends to YC founders - with real budget behind them

  • Running narrow, targeted paid spend (e.g. a small daily budget tied to a free tool) where it supports a wider campaign, kept deliberately focused rather than broadents attended, video of any talks given, and a written recap of who you met

Requirements

You really need to have:

  • Experience running influencer marketing campaigns end-to-end, from outreach through to measurement

  • A track record in GEO/SEO or organic growth channels

  • Comfort pitching and executing bold, unconventional campaign ideas - not just optimizing an existing playbook

  • The ability to work with real budget and ownership, prioritizing depth on a couple of channels over breadth

  • If you are remote you must be within CET to ET timezones (GMT+1:00 to GMT-5:00). We will arrange in-person events throughout the year

You'll be an amazing fit if you:

  • Experience at an early-stage startup where you were marketing's first or only hire

  • A portfolio of "big swing" campaigns you can point to

  • Familiarity with tools like Plug.dev or similar influencer marketplace platforms

  • Previously worked in developer tools or on a technical/developer-facing product

  • If you're based in the UK and you are able to join the team in London

  • Have a social media presence

About the team

  • We are a small team with a flat hierarchy

  • We encourage continuous learning and personal development

  • Everyone operates autonomously; we trust you to get the job done, but to also quickly raise your hand if you need help

  • We care about our customers and the open-source community

  • Being a start-up, the work is challenging and fast-paced, but we also understand the importance of taking time off to recharge

Working at a Commercial Open Source Software company is more than just your day job

  • We have an active community on Discord and GitHub. Everyone on the team helps customers, reviews PRs, and creates issues

  • Great documentation matters more than ever, both for humans and for the AI tools that read it. Everyone here keeps docs up to date

  • We are a product-led growth company so everyone is expected to get involved in creating content like code examples, blog articles, videos and tweets

Benefits

  • Generous, transparent compensation and equity - We hire the best talent and pay to reflect that. We also offer equity as a way to ensure everyone is invested in the success of the company.

  • Async working - Need a heads-down day or meeting-free days to stay productive? No problem!

  • Home office - We will help provide equipment for a comfortable setup so you're as productive at home as you are in the office.

  • Generous vacation - We believe it's important to take time off. We encourage you to take your 25 days vacation excluding national holidays, plus sick leave and generous parental leave.

  • Training budget - An annual budget to contribute towards learning such as purchasing books, an Audible subscription or online courses.

  • Pension and 401k contributions - Enroll in our company pension scheme or we'll contribute directly to your private pension.
