Make an Impact!

At McGraw Hill we create best-in-class, next-generation learning solutions that are used by millions of students and educators worldwide from kindergarten through graduate school. Our goal is to accelerate student success through intuitive and effective learning tools and content that maximize an educator's time and a student's learning experience. We do all of this in a supportive, collaborative environment where you can grow your career in a way that fits into your life.

How Can You Make an Impact?

McGraw Hill, a leading provider of digital and print educational resources, is looking for a Marketing Manager for Business Law, Taxation, and Upper-Level Accounting courses within our Higher Education division.

  • Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager will own the go-to-market strategy and execution for the Business Law, Taxation, and Upper-Level Accounting portfolios within McGraw Hill's Business, Economics, and Computing team.
  • You will play a critical role in driving digital growth by developing differentiated positioning, designing thought leadership and demand-generation campaigns, building relationships with instructors and other customers, creating high-impact events and marketing materials, and delivering sales enablement that supports adoption, retention, and revenue goals.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You Will Be Doing:

Go-to-Market Strategy & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute comprehensive, strategic go-to-market plans for the assigned portfolios in coordination with product, sales, customer success, digital solutions, and other integrated team partners.
  • Own customer-facing marketing campaigns, including email communications, webinars, events, and website presence.
  • Develop differentiated portfolio positioning and messaging aligned with the Connect platform strategy, and ensure it is communicated effectively to faculty, administrators, sales teams, and other target audiences.
  • Execute both virtual and in-person marketing initiatives, managing timelines and deliverables across multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Lead customer acquisition, adoption, engagement, retention, and advocacy initiatives across the assigned portfolio.

Sales Enablement & Support

  • Provide sales support and enablement for internal teams and customer-facing partners, equipping them to communicate the value of Connect and the assigned course solutions.
  • Develop internal and external sales, training, and marketing resources that help the organization promote the assigned portfolio, respond to customer and representative inquiries, and address adoption barriers.
  • Conduct customer- and internal-facing presentations, product demonstrations, and trainings on a regular basis in both live and virtual environments.
  • Train and support the sales team through virtual and in-person sessions, communicating product positioning, messaging, and updates to help drive adoption and revenue growth.

Market Insight & Product Strategy

  • Build relationships with instructors, authors, subject-matter experts, and professional organizations to gather market insight and strengthen portfolio advocacy.
  • Gather feedback from college faculty, sales teams, and customers to monitor market trends and emerging needs.
  • Identify and evaluate digital product, content, and service opportunities that address instructor and student needs across Business Law, Taxation, and Upper-Level Accounting courses.
  • Collaborate with portfolio teams to recommend product enhancements, new products, and feature improvements based on market and customer intelligence.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, competitive activity, and potential growth opportunities, and contribute to market research, portfolio planning, and product development.

Performance & Optimization

  • Use performance, funnel, and customer data to guide decisions, optimize marketing programs, and share best practices across the team.
  • Manage competing priorities with attention to detail, responding effectively when urgent sales or adoption challenges require an immediate shift in plans.
  • Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution to consistently meet deadlines and, when needed, turn projects around quickly.

We're Looking for Someone With:

  • Minimum 3–4 years of client-facing marketing, product marketing, and/or sales or customer success experience.
  • Demonstrated experience developing go-to-market plans, portfolio positioning, demand-generation programs, and sales enablement across multiple products or course areas.
  • Strong ability to manage competing priorities without losing attention to detail, and to respond calmly and effectively to changing deadlines and urgent requests.
  • Proven ability to make decisions using customer feedback, market data, and performance insights balancing strategic thinking with practical execution.
  • Strong ability to identify, prioritize, and execute marketing objectives that grow market share, support customer retention, and drive revenue.
  • Ability to translate complex product capabilities and discipline-specific needs into clear, compelling, audience-appropriate messaging for both internal sales teams and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent cross-functional collaboration, project management, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Success in managing and delivering virtual and/or live events and conducting compelling presentations both internally and externally.
  • Strong understanding of emerging marketing trends, technologies, and integrated campaign strategies; experience with Salesforce is preferred.
  • Experience with tools such as Qualtrics, Asana, or marketing communication platforms is a plus.
  • Experience in higher education, educational technology, or Business Law, Taxation, or accounting markets is preferred but candidates from any industry are encouraged to apply; domain expertise is an advantage, not a prerequisite.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
