The role:
A key priority will be establishing the consultancy as the Group's front door, using its research, consultancy and relationships with independent schools to generate opportunities across all four businesses.
You will also lead the marketing activity required to build the projects sides forward order book and increase sales opportunities for interiors, refurbs, fit outs and furniture
Key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and delivering the Group's marketing strategy and annual plan.
- Building brand awareness and positioning across all four businesses.
- Generating qualified sales leads through targeted campaigns, account-based marketing and outbound activity.
- Developing the consultancy profile through research, thought leadership, PR and industry relationships.
- Raising the profile of key individuals through LinkedIn, speaking opportunities and sector media.
- Managing digital marketing, websites, SEO, email campaigns and social media.
- Planning and delivering industry events and exhibitions.
- Producing case studies, project content and marketing materials.
- Working closely with Business Development to convert marketing activity into commercial opportunities.
- Managing the marketing budget, CRM activity and performance reporting:
We are looking for an experienced B2B marketing professional who understands how to turn marketing investment into commercial growth.
You will be equally comfortable developing a Group-wide marketing strategy, advising senior colleagues and getting hands-on with campaigns, content, digital marketing and lead generation.
- B2B marketing experience, leading a marketing function within an SME.
- Experience in both the education sector and the built environment, ideally construction, interiors, fit-out or furniture.
- A proven track record of generating qualified sales opportunities and contributing to revenue growth.
- Experience marketing high-value, long-sales-cycle projects.
- Strong practical experience across brand development, digital marketing, content, PR, events and outbound campaigns.
- Experience managing CRM systems and using data to measure marketing effectiveness.
- Experience managing people, external agencies and marketing budgets.
- Excellent communication skills and the confidence to work with senior business leaders and external stakeholders.
- Salary of £60,000–£70,000 depending on experience.
- Performance-related bonus linked to commercial and marketing objectives.
- Hybrid working, based at Noble House, Hemel Hempstead.
- A four-day working week will be considered, with salary adjusted pro rata.
- Pension and holiday entitlement.
- Opportunities to attend and represent the Group at leading industry conferences and events.
