Marketing Manager

J&L Apex Advisory is partnering with a fast-growing global online trading platform (FX / CFDs, multi-asset) to hire a Marketing Manager for Japan, one of the company's priority growth markets.

THE ROLE

You will own marketing for the Japan market end to end and work hand in hand with the local Business Development team. This is a generalist role covering events, partner activities, digital, social and content.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and run the Japan marketing plan to grow brand awareness, client acquisition and engagement by collaborating with the Group marketing team.
• Plan and deliver events, seminars, trader meet-ups and industry exhibitions together with the BD team
• Run localised digital, social media and content activity in Japanese
• Work with KOLs, media and partners to expand reach
• Support the BD team with campaign materials, partner programmes and promotions
• Adapt global campaigns for the Japanese market
• Track and report on campaign performance and results
• Work with compliance to keep all marketing materials within applicable rules

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of marketing experience, including hands-on event and digital marketing
• Background at a brokerage, securities firm, FX / CFD platform, digital asset exchange or fintech is strongly preferred
• A genuine generalist, comfortable across events, digital, social media and content
• A strong collaborator who works well with sales, BD teams and global marketing team.
• Native or business-level Japanese, with a second language in English or Mandarin due to close liaison with such stakeholders in the company and with the clients.
• Based in Japan, and comfortable working remotely in a cross-border team
