MARKETING MANAGER (m/f/d)

Remote (Germany) | Full-Time (40 hrs/week) | Maternity leave cover, 17 Months | Start Date: December 1, 2026

This is a fixed-term position to cover a maternity leave. You will take over the marketing and communication tasks of the colleague on leave and ensure continuity in the run-up to ISC High Performance 2027 and beyond.

YOUR IMPACT

• Strategy & Planning: Assisting with the development and implementation of strategic marketing and communication plans
• Event Communication: Coordination and execution of all communication activities for ISC High Performance 2027 and 2028 (monthly newsletter, targeted mailings, paid ads, social media, website and landing pages)
• Performance Marketing & Tracking: Conceptualization, management, and performance analysis of campaigns, as well as planning and monitoring conversion tracking measures
• Website Management: Administration, content maintenance, and design adjustments for the event website on WordPress
• Event Platform & Content: Creating and maintaining marketing-relevant content on the event platform Swapcard, as well as emailing attendees
• Onsite Support: Active participation in ISC High Performance 2027 in Hamburg, with a focus on onsite communication and support for the marketing team

YOUR PROFILE

• A degree in Marketing, Communications, or a comparable field, or equivalent professional experience of at least five years.
• Hands-on experience planning, running, and analyzing digital marketing campaigns, including paid ads (e.g., LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads)
• Ideally practical experience setting up and monitoring conversion tracking, with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager
• Good working knowledge of WordPress, including editing pages and making layout adjustments (basic HTML/CSS is a plus)
• Experience creating and sending email campaigns with a newsletter or marketing automation tool
• Basic experience in budget planning and cost control, ideally for campaign spending
• Business-fluent English, written and spoken
• An independent, structured, and goal-oriented way of working, combined with strong teamwork and communication skills
• Comfortable working remotely and independently, and willing to travel for a few on-site meetings and for ISC High Performance 2027 in Hamburg

Nice to have:

• Experience with event platforms such as Swapcard
• Background in event or B2B marketing, ideally in a technical or scientific environment
• Good spoken German
