JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Summary
Green Dot reaches millions of consumers through flagship partner programs (Walmart MoneyCard, Xpectations! Plus) and our own brands (Green Dot, GO2bank). In this role, you will have the opportunity to turn organic social into one of Green Dot's growth channels.
You’ll build Green Dot’s organic social program from the ground up. Working with the Director of Marketing, you’ll set the strategy, define the KPIs, and deliver a three-year plan that shows measurable growth year over year. Year one is about getting results from current resources and building the business case for more investment. Years two and three are about scaling what works.
You’ll also be the in-house Hispanic marketing expert, partnering with each brand’s Senior Marketing Manager to make sure campaigns land with Hispanic consumers. Brand leads own program strategy. You bring the Spanish fluency, cultural insight, and translation oversight that make their work authentic and effective, starting with Walmart MoneyCard and expanding as the program grows to other partner and proprietary brands.
You’re a hands-on builder who is comfortable with a lean year-one budget, connects social activity to business outcomes, and can turn a flat channel into a growth engine. About 75% of the role is organic social and 25% is Hispanic marketing support; that split will shift with business needs. You’ll report to the Director of Marketing and work closely with consumer marketing, brand marketing leads, direct/lifecycle marketing, data analytics, compliance, and legal.

- Set KPIs and annual growth targets that connect social performance to business outcomes such as traffic, account acquisition, activation, and engagement, not just follower counts.
- Assess and recommend growth levers, including content pillars, platform mix, creators and influencers, employee advocacy, community management, and agency support. Build the investment case for each.
- Own content planning and the publishing calendar. Brief and direct internal and external creative resources, and set standards for brand voice, quality, and speed.
- Work with compliance and legal to build an efficient review and approval workflow suited to a regulated financial services brand.
- Track and report performance weekly, monthly, and quarterly, with clear insights and recommendations.

- Partner with brand Senior Marketing Managers to shape Hispanic marketing initiatives, starting with Walmart MoneyCard and expanding to additional partner and proprietary brands.

- Experience managing agencies, creators, or influencer partnerships.
- Ability to deliver results with limited resources as an individual contributor, working independently across multiple priorities.
