MARKETING OPERATIONS COORDINATOR, ECOMMERCE
Remote: Philippines preferred, Latin America open
· Full-time · $1,500-2,500 USD/month, depending on your level of experience
A launch has a lot of moving parts. The creative can be ready while the product page still needs work, the promo code hasn’t been tested, and the email is scheduled to go out tomorrow. You’re the person who catches those gaps and gets them sorted.
You’ll keep the calendar current, make approved PDP changes, and coordinate the handoffs between our team and agency. We’re looking for someone who checks that the work is actually ready, follows up without waiting to be reminded, and flags problems while there’s still time to fix them.
About Fringe Sport
Fringe Sport makes strength equipment for home and garage gyms. We're based in Austin, Texas, with a lean team spread across the US, the Philippines and beyond. We care about four things: Winning Team, Customer Focus, Product Passion, Results. We move fast, faster than most people expect when they join.
Why this role exists
Our marketing moves fast: launches, sales, emails, new product pages and videos every week. What we're missing is someone who keeps it all on one calendar, checks it before it goes live, and makes sure what we agreed in the meeting actually happens. When priorities shift, you're the one who keeps what's already working from getting dropped.
What you'll own
The calendar
● Run our 90-day marketing calendar, the one place everyone checks
● Daily coordination: who's doing what, what's due, what's stuck
● Turn every marketing meeting (recorded with an AI notetaker) into owners and deadlines the same day, then follow up
Quality control
● QA every campaign, promo, product page, link and discount before it goes live
● Hold anything that isn't ready, and flag it early
● Check what happens downstream instead of assuming a change worked
Ecommerce execution
● Make changes in Shopify (product pages, collections, bundles, discounts) within the direction you're given, using AI to move faster
● Publish approved blog content, social posts and YouTube videos
● Coordinate with our email/SMS agency so assets, links, offers and dates are right
Systems
● Keep reporting clean and the source of truth actually true
● Build checklists, SOPs and small automations so mistakes don't repeat
What a typical week looks like
● Monday: update the calendar and flag anything at risk for the week
● Daily: pull the numbers for our daily huddle (sales across our online store, Shop and Amazon, Meta and Google ad spend, conversion rate, AOV, sessions, new customers, email/SMS sign-ups, and units sold on key products) and flag anything that looks off
● Daily: check what's going live and QA it first
● After each meeting: send out owners and deadlines, then chase them
● Shopify changes and publishing approved content
● A check-in with our email agency on upcoming sends
● Friday: a short note on what shipped, what slipped, and why
Who you'll work with
Our Creative Strategist, Creator & Affiliate Manager, content team, email/SMS agency, product team, and leadership, including our CEO.
Tools
Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, Meta Ads Manager and Google Ads (reporting), Klaviyo, Postscript, Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, an AI notetaker, and AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT. We'll train you on anything specific to us.
How we'll measure success
Two numbers above everything: on-time execution (things go live when we said they would) and first-pass accuracy (they go live right the first time).
Your first 90 days
● 30: You know our products, you've shadowed customer support, and you own the calendar.
● 60: Nothing goes live without your QA, and meeting follow-ups go out the same day.
● 90: Fewer surprises, fewer fixes after launch, and checklists anyone can follow.
You're probably a fit if you
● Double-check things nobody asked you to check
● Follow up without being reminded, across lots of moving pieces
● Are comfortable in Shopify, or confident you'll pick it up fast
● Already use AI tools to work faster
● Write clearly in English and keep things documented
Bonus points
● Ecommerce or DTC experience: launches, promos, bundles, discounts
● Experience coordinating with an outside agency
● You've built automations (Zapier, Asana rules, scripts)
Probably not for you if you
● Want to set marketing strategy
● Don't like chasing people
● Think "close enough" is fine
What we offer
● $1,500-2,500 USD/month depending on experience
● Availability to collaborate with our team during U.S. Central Time business hours.
● Product training, plus time with customer support so you know the gear and the customers
● A role the team will rely on daily, with room to build the systems your way
Work arrangement
Remote in the Philippines or Latin America, with a full US Central workday. Philippines-based candidates should expect overnight hours.
How to apply and what to expect
