Position Description Deque is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to join our Marketing Team. This is a hands-on operations role at the center of our marketing team. You'll own the day-to-day administration of HubSpot: building and QA'ing campaigns, keeping the database clean and compliant, connecting the tools around it, and turning what happens in the platform into reporting that marketing and sales leadership use to make decisions. You'll be the person who makes campaigns run on time and correctly, and the person who can answer "where did this lead come from and what happened to it?" You'll also help us practice what we sell making sure our own emails, forms, and landing pages meet the accessibility standards we hold our customers' products to. Primary Responsibilities HubSpot administration and campaign execution Serve as the primary administrator for HubSpot Marketing Hub including users and permissions, properties, integrations, and platform hygiene Build, test, and deploy email campaigns, nurture workflows, landing pages, forms, CTAs, and lists with the broader marketing organization QA every campaign before launch: links, personalization tokens, rendering across clients and devices, mobile display, and accessibility Manage the campaign calendar and keep launches on schedule across a marketing team with competing priorities Maintain naming conventions, folder structure, and campaign taxonomy so the instance stays usable as it grows Lead management and data quality Administer lifecycle stages, lead scoring, Signals and MQL definitions, and revise them as the funnel evolves Manage the day-to-day handoff to sales, including SLAs and follow-up tracking Maintain the HubSpot/Salesforce data sync, resolve field mapping and data conflicts, and keep records aligned across systems Run ongoing database hygiene: deduplication, enrichment, list segmentation, bounce and unengaged contact management Manage subscription preferences, suppression lists, and email deliverability — sender reputation, authentication, and inbox placement Reporting and analytics Build and maintain dashboards for campaign performance, funnel conversion rates, and pipeline contribution Own UTM governance and campaign tracking so attribution is consistent and trustworthy Deliver regular reporting to marketing and sales leadership, with the context needed to act on it Investigate anomalies in the data rather than reporting them forward Martech stack and integrations Administer and integrate the tools connected to HubSpot. This includes: webinar platforms, data enrichment, event and conference registration, 3rd party ad platforms, and sales engagement tools Support registration, lead capture, and follow-up operations for Deque events, including our annual axe-con conference Evaluate new tools, document how the stack fits together, and retire what's redundant Document processes so campaign execution isn't dependent on one person's memory Accessibility and compliance Ensure marketing emails, forms, and landing pages conform to WCAG standards Maintain compliance with GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL, and related requirements in how we collect, store, and use contact data Requirements 5+ years in marketing operations, demand generation operations, or a closely related role Deep, hands-on HubSpot experience. You've administered a Marketing Hub instance day to day Working knowledge of Salesforce and how marketing and sales data flow between systems Demonstrated ownership of lead lifecycle design, scoring models, and routing logic Strong analytical skills, comfortable in spreadsheets, confident building reports, and able to explain what the numbers mean to people who don't live in the data Meticulous attention to detail, especially in QA Clear written communication and the habit of documenting your work Ability to manage multiple concurrent campaigns and prioritize independently Familiarity within agentic workflows and automation capabilities Nice-to-have HubSpot certifications (Marketing Hub, Marketing Software, Reporting) B2B SaaS experience, particularly with a technical or developer-facing audience Familiarity with digital accessibility standards (WCAG, ADA, Section 508) or a genuine interest in learning them Experience with SQL, a BI tool, or marketing attribution modeling Experience supporting an ABM program or a sales-led enterprise motion About Deque Deque (pronounced dee-cue) is a web accessibility software and services company, and our mission is Digital Equality.
