Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 per annum, depending on experience
Love turning complex systems into smooth, effective marketing? Know your way around HubSpot, understand what makes a great email journey, and already use AI to make things work better? We’d love to hear from you.
At AccessPay, we’re transforming the way businesses connect with their banks, helping finance and treasury teams automate payments and cash management. Behind that ambition is a team of curious, collaborative people who enjoy solving problems and making things happen.
We’re looking for a Marketing Operations & Automation Manager to help power our next stage of growth. Joining our Growth Marketing team and reporting to the Head of Growth Marketing, you’ll own the systems, data and automation that turn marketing activity into measurable results.
This is a hands-on role with real scope to shape how we work. From building smarter nurture journeys to improving lead flow and introducing useful AI automation, you’ll create the foundations that help our marketing engine scale.

Key Responsibilities
- Own our marketing technology. Implement, integrate and manage a connected, reliable marketing stack with HubSpot at its heart, from workflows, properties, lifecycle stages and account scoring to new tools and integrations.
- Create email journeys that deliver. Own our customer and prospect email programmes, from strategy, segmentation and lifecycle journeys through to build, QA, A/B testing, personalisation and reporting. Own deliverability and sender reputation, including SPF, DKIM, DMARC, list hygiene and domain health.
- Turn AI into practical improvements. Build automations that reduce manual work and improve quality. Build and maintain our AI standardisation framework, covering approved tools, prompt libraries, review standards and data handling rules, so the team uses AI consistently.
- Connect marketing and sales. Ensure leads are captured, tracked, routed and nurtured effectively, working with sales and the data team to resolve issues and improve lead quality.
- Make campaigns work from the start. Support campaign delivery with effective landing pages, forms, tracking and UTMs, making sure everything is tested and results can be measured.
- Make data useful and dependable. Work with our data team on cleansing, enrichment and segmentation, supporting GDPR compliance and building dashboards that show marketing performance and pipeline health.
- Build for growth. Work across marketing, sales, account management and data to improve processes, remove friction and create repeatable ways of working.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
You’ll bring three core strengths:
- Strong, hands-on HubSpot expertise. You’ve administered HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub, including properties, lifecycle stages, workflows, account scoring and reporting.
- Proven B2B email marketing experience. You can design and build nurture journeys, manage deliverability and explain how your programmes contribute to engagement and pipeline.
- Practical AI fluency. You can share examples of workflows or automations you’ve built with AI, the improvements they delivered, and where human judgement and review remain essential.
You’ll also have experience in marketing operations within a fast-paced B2B SaaS or fintech environment, a sharp eye for detail, making sure every send and workflow works correctly before it goes live, as well as a strong sense of ownership. You’re comfortable getting into the technical detail, working across teams and following things through.
Experience with Salesforce, particularly a HubSpot–Salesforce integration, would be a bonus.
Why join us?
You’ll have the opportunity to make this function your own. Your work will influence how we launch campaigns, connect with customers, support sales and measure success, with plenty of room to test ideas and improve how things get done.
You’ll join a collaborative team that values curiosity, shares knowledge and welcomes fresh thinking. If you enjoy building strong foundations, seeing the impact of your work and helping others work smarter, there’s plenty to get excited about.
