Marketing Operations Specialist

Position Overview:
The Marketing Operations Specialist keeps the day-to-day operational engine of the Marketing team running smoothly and on time. This role owns weekly reporting for the team, serves as the primary owner of the marketing inbox ticketing system and the ongoing implementation and optimization of our technology platform (Zendesk). The role is the process owner for field-facing communications, including the weekly brew, monthly Coaches and FZ presentations, and ad hoc communications for regional events. This individual also manages ad hoc signage requests from cross-functional partners outside of the core signage program, project manages new signage type tests as needed, and oversees vendor invoicing for all signage. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple recurring workstreams and cross-functional relationships at once. Additionally, the role supports turnkey marketing programs that activate locally and manages key program partners at the corporate level that activate at scale across Dutch Bros markets.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field, required
2-3 years of experience in marketing operations, marketing coordination, or a related role
Experience managing ticketing systems, project management tools, or similar operational platforms preferred
Experience with reporting, budget tracking, or vendor invoicing preferred
Must have the ability to work collaboratively with team members and internal/external stakeholders
Location Requirement:
This role is located in Tempe, Arizona. This position is required to be in office 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs); Fridays are optional remote work days.
Key Result Areas (KRAs):
Own Marketing Reporting and the ticketing platform, ensuring the team has accurate, timely data and a reliable system for managing inbound requests
Own the weekly reporting process for the Brand Marketing team, ensuring timely, accurate delivery to stakeholders
Serve as primary owner/administrator of the team's ticketing platform, managing intake, routing, prioritization, and resolution of requests
Maintain and continuously improve reporting templates and dashboards for accuracy, clarity, and efficiency on our technology platform (Zendesk)
Partner cross-functionally to gather and validate data inputs needed for reporting
Evaluate data to identify recurring field issues, building dashboards and providing data-driven recommendations to optimize brand initiatives.
Serve as Field Communication process owner, ensuring the field consistently receives clear, timely, and on-brand information
Own end-to-end process for field-facing communications, including the weekly brew, monthly Coaches and FZ presentations, and ad hoc communications for regional events
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather content and ensure communications are accurate, timely, and on-brand
Build and maintain a consistent cadence and calendar for recurring field communications
Serve as point of contact for ad hoc regional event communication needs, ensuring field teams have what they need to execute successfully
Manage Ad Hoc Signage and Vendor Invoicing, supporting cross-functional partners outside of the core signage program
Serve as intake and fulfillment owner for ad hoc signage requests from cross-functional partners, outside of the core signage program
Project manage new signage type tests as needed, partnering with cross-functional teams and vendors
Manage vendor invoicing for all signage, ensuring timely and accurate processing
Other duties as assigned
Project Management support for local field marketing activation programs and corporate enterprise partnerships
Support turnkey local marketing programs that boost brand awareness with the target market and drive engagement with field leaders tied to seasonally relevant events (eg Rush Week College Drink Sampling, College Move In-Day)
Maintain key program partners at the corporate level that support local activations at scale across Dutch Bros markets. (eg College Housing Affiliations)

Physical Requirements:
In-Office Environment: Must be able to work in a busy, crowded, and loud office with frequent distractions and interruptions
Must be able to collaborate in-person with occasional impromptu in-person meetings
Office Conditions: Adaptability to typical office conditions, which may include exposure to air conditioning, heating, artificial lighting, and varying noise levels
Mobility: Ability to sit, stand, reach, twist, stretch, and work at a desk for long stretches. Must be able to occasionally move or lift office items up to 25 pounds
Hearing Requirements: Hearing must be sufficient or correctable to ensure clear understanding of spoken information, including participating in virtual meetings and phone calls. Use of hearing aids or other assistive devices is acceptable if needed.
Reading and Writing Proficiency: Ability to read and write in English is essential for processing documents, drafting reports, and following up on necessary actions. Proficiency in written communication is required to handle job-related tasks effectively.
Vision Requirements: Vision must be adequate or correctable to perform essential job duties, such as reading documents on a computer screen and using other visual tools. Use of corrective lenses or other measures to meet visual requirements is expected if needed.
Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in operating a computer and other office productivity tools such as printers, scanners, and collaboration software.
Effective Communication: Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with team members, clients, and other stakeholders via email, video conferencing, and other in office communication tools.
