The Impact You Will Make

The Data Analyst is a hands-on builder and trusted partner within Analytics Solutions, the data, insights, reporting, and AI analysis layer that powers marketing and operations decisions across our COO organization. You will turn data from first consideration and ad spend through enrollment and student outcomes into clear reports, dashboards, and insights for Channel Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Student Success, and Strategy teams. You will grow quickly alongside our shift to AI-enabled analytics, delivering accurate, responsive work in a fast-paced environment where service and speed matter.

How You Will Bring Our Mission to Life

What You Will Do

  • Serve the data from consideration to enrolled students. Independently manage assigned reporting and analytics deliverables, building and maintaining the reports, datasets, and metrics that connect ad spend and funnel performance (spend, CPL, CPA, lead, application, enrollment) for Channel Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Student Success, and Strategy, applying established KPI definitions and flagging gaps.
  • Build reporting people actually use. Independently develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and recurring reports (data models, DAX) that stakeholders can explore on their own, with clear design and documentation, and automate manual reporting wherever possible.
  • Optimize the data layer. Write and optimize SQL and contribute to data models and pipelines in Databricks, partnering with senior team members to prepare clean, governed data for reporting and AI use.
  • Explore AI-enabled analytics. Help test and scale AI-powered ways to deliver insights, such as automated summaries, natural-language data queries, and intelligent reporting workflows, and share what works with the team.
  • Turn data into answers. Analyze changes in funnel, cohort, channel, and conversion performance, and identify likely drivers, and determine appropriate analytical approaches to answer defined business questions. Investigate changes in performance, and support LTV/ROAS, forecasting, and experiment or Marketing Mix Modeling work, translating findings into clear recommendations.
  • Be a responsive partner. Handle stakeholder requests with a high-service mindset: clarify the business question, set expectations, deliver on time, and communicate findings clearly to business partners and, with guidance, to leadership.
  • Protect data quality. Validate and reconcile numbers across ad platforms, CRM, and web analytics sources, support tagging and event data checks, and escalate data issues quickly.

What Success Looks Like

  • Partner directly with stakeholders across COO functions and ensure they receive accurate, timely reporting they trust and use to make decisions.
  • Dashboards and analyses are adopted and answer real questions, replacing manual, one-off requests.
  • Data quality issues are caught and resolved early, keeping reporting consistent across sources.
  • Your technical range and ownership grow steadily across SQL, Databricks, Power BI, and AI-enabled analytics.
  • undefined
  • Take ownership of the accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of reports and analyses
  • Support efforts enabling stakeholder adoption and satisfaction with dashboards and analytics outputs, and responsiveness to requests
  • Reduction in manual reporting effort and growth in self-service usage
  • Growth in technical skills and independent ownership of analytics work overtime

What You’ll Bring to the Team

You combine analytical curiosity, strong technical fundamentals, and a service mindset. You learn fast, juggle multiple requests with ease, and are excited to help shape how AI changes the way our teams get answers from data.

Experience That Matters Most

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Operations Research, Engineering, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing analytics, business analytics, or a related analytical role.
  • Proficiency in SQL for querying, joining, and transforming data (CTEs and window functions a plus).
  • Hands-on experience building reports and dashboards in Power BI or a similar BI tool, with working knowledge of data modeling and DAX, plus strong Excel skills.
  • Experience analyzing funnel, conversion, ROI, and marketing performance data, and independently performing exploratory analysis to uncover actionable insights.
  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to business audiences.
  • Service mindset and relationship-building collaborates effectively across functions and manages multiple priorities and fast turnarounds.
  • Curiosity and eagerness to learn new tools and methods, including AI-enabled analytics, with comfort working through ambiguity.

Experience That’s Great to Have

  • Databricks experience (Delta Lake, PySpark, notebooks) or other modern cloud data platforms.
  • Python or R for analysis and automation.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled analytics: LLM-based reporting, automated insights, or natural-language data tools (e.g., Databricks Genie or similar).
  • Experience with web analytics platforms (GA4, Adobe Analytics), clickstream analysis, and CRM platforms.
  • Exposure to paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn), attribution, Marketing Mix Modeling, or experimentation.
  • Exposure to customer research methodologies, survey design, or market analysis.
