Marketing Specialist

The Marketing Specialist is a full-time remote or hybrid role responsible for planning and executing marketing initiatives that support Beacon Education’s online degree programs. Day-to-day tasks include conducting market research, developing and optimizing marketing strategies, and supporting campaigns across digital channels. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and university partners to craft clear messaging, produce marketing materials, and monitor performance metrics. The Marketing Specialist will engage in lead-generation activities, support sales efforts with relevant content and insights, and maintain consistent brand standards. This position requires proactive communication, effective time management, and a focus on achieving measurable enrollment and engagement goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation & Operations: Plan, create, and localize engaging content about US online higher education across Vietnam's key social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other relevant channels.
• Audience Engagement: Actively interact with followers, answer initial inquiries online, and guide potential learners through their initial discovery phase.
• Market Research: Conduct regular research on Vietnam’s adult learning market, analyze competitor trends, and gather insights on target customer behaviors.
• Brand Growth: Assist in running local social media campaigns to increase brand awareness and drive organic lead generation.

Key Qualifications:

• Preferred Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 2 to 5 years of proven experience in social media content operations or digital marketing.
• Skills: Strong understanding of Vietnam’s social media ecosystem (especially short-video trends on TikTok and community building on FB/IG).
• Languages: Vietnamese; professional proficiency in English (essential for collaborating with global teams).
• Preferred Experience: Experience studying abroad or a strong familiarity with the US higher education system is highly preferred.
• A proactive, self-motivated learner who understands the pain points and aspirations of adult working professionals.
