About Sapience AI
Sapience AI is the collective intelligence platform for professional communities. We help membership organizations and industry associations surface the expertise already inside their network and put it to work. Let's achieve more, together.
The Role
We are looking for a Marketing Team Lead for our Social Media and Events who thinks like a marketer first and a channel owner second. You will own company social media accounts and events end-to-end that are used as the main growth engines for a fast-growing tech company – tying every post, event, and leadership story to awareness, pipeline, and revenue. You will set the strategy, build the content, show up at the moments that matter, and prove what works. You will also inform us where to go next.
What You Will Do
- Build and run a cohesive social and events strategy that supports company growth goals, from audience and message through concept, execution, and results.
- Plan and run campaigns that connect social, events, and leadership content to the full funnel, working closely with product, sales, and PR.
- Interview our leadership team and turn those conversations into posts, videos, and written content that carry their unique and specific voice and points of view.
- Build and manage a thought leadership program that gives our leaders a steady, authentic presence on social and at events.
- Use HubSpot to schedule content, track campaigns, attribute results, and report on what drives pipeline.
- Capture and edit social and event content, including photo, short-form video, and live coverage, using Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Follow industry trends, platform changes, and competitor activity, and recommend how we evolve to keep growing.
- Research, recommend, and track event attendance for the company, including where we should speak, sponsor, or attend, and what each event returned.
- Plan the full event arc: pre-event promotion, onsite content, and post-event follow-through.
- Keep our voice human, bold, and consistent everywhere we show up.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of marketing experience required, with a track record in a B2B SaaS or fast-growing tech company
- Hands-on, working experience with HubSpot required, including campaign, social, and reporting tools
- Proven ownership of campaigns from concept through execution, with results you can point to
- Experience interviewing executives and writing or editing content in their voice
- A working grasp of go-to-market, positioning, audience segmentation, and how marketing supports sales
- Fluency with LinkedIn and the platforms where B2B audiences spend time
- Experience tracking event ROI and making attendance recommendations
- Clear writing, sound judgment, and the ability to move fast in a company that is rapidly changing
- A portfolio or work samples that show strategy and results, not just creative
Preferred
- Photo and short-form video capture and editing in Adobe Creative Cloud
Engagement Details
- Contractor role, 40 hours per week
- Open to candidates anywhere in the United States, with a requirement to work Pacific time hours
- Term runs through January 1, 2027, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate
- Monthly contracted rate: $5,600
- Reports to the Head of Marketing
