Position Overview
We're hiring Marketing & Video Interns to support the marketing, brand, and content operations of SemiAnalysis as the business continues to scale. This is one application with two tracks: Marketing & Design and Video Editing. Tell us which track fits you best, or apply to both.
These roles are designed for students, recent graduates, and early-career candidates with strong creative instincts who want hands-on experience in a fast-moving, technical media operation, with real work that gets published. Both tracks share a core of editing, design, and AI-assisted production, and both work closely with the Marketing and Brand Lead.
On the Marketing & Design track, you will design social graphics and brand assets, edit short-form video, manage the content calendar, proof and clear content for publication, and support PR and merch efforts. On the Video Editing track, you will help edit our weekly podcast, cut clips for every major platform, and assist with captions, thumbnails, and motion graphics.
Strong candidates bring taste, careful attention to detail, and a willingness to take feedback and turn work around quickly.
These are internships based in the United States, with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on performance.
Responsibilities
Across both tracks
Short-Form Content: Cut and format short-form clips and social video for Reels, Shorts, TikTok, X, and LinkedIn, with captions and platform-native framing.
AI-Assisted Production: Use AI tools for image, video, and audio generation and editing, writing precise prompts and iterating until the output is production-ready.
Clip Spotting: Flag pull quotes and clip candidates for the social team as you work.
Asset Management: Keep project files, asset libraries, and naming conventions organized so work is easy to find and hand off.
Learn & Share: Test new design, editing, and AI tools, and share what works with the team.
Marketing & Design track
Design & Brand Assets: Design social graphics, event materials, slide visuals, and campaign assets in line with the SemiAnalysis brand system.
Content Calendar Management: Own the content calendar, tracking what is publishing across articles, podcast episodes, clips, and announcements, and keep owners aligned on deadlines.
Proofing & Quality Control: Proofread copy, captions, graphics, video, and decks before publication, checking spelling, names, figures, and brand consistency.
Copyright & Licensing: Check usage rights for images, music, footage, fonts, and third-party logos, and keep clear records of licenses and attributions.
PR Support: Track press mentions, support media and speaker inquiries, and help prepare press-facing materials.
Social Media Support: Draft captions, schedule posts, and monitor engagement across X, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.
Performance Reporting: Compile weekly reports on engagement and campaign results, and surface what is working.
Guest & Analyst Coordination: Coordinate bios, headshots, handles, and assets with analysts and podcast guests.
Events & Merch: Support event materials and logistics, and help with merch design, vendor coordination, and fulfillment.
Video Editing track
Podcast Editing Support: Assist with weekly long-form episodes, including rough cuts, multicam syncing, audio cleanup, and chapter markers.
Captions & Accuracy: Clean up transcripts and captions, and verify that names, companies, tickers, and technical terms are spelled correctly on screen.
Thumbnails & Packaging: Help build thumbnails and episode packaging in partnership with the marketing team.
Motion Graphics: Assist with chart animations, explainer sequences, and simple motion graphics using SemiAnalysis brand templates.
