Master Data Management Engineer

We are seeking a Master Data Management Engineer to design and implement lightweight, SQL-based mastering logic within Snowflake. You will focus on building match key generation, defining survivorship rules, and creating master ID mapping tables across multiple data domains. You will also be responsible for documenting mastering logic to support a seamless transition into a full-scale MDM platform, while contributing to vendor evaluation and selection. Location: Hyderabad, India Experience: 3+ years Schedule: Monday to Friday What You'll Do: Design and implement match key generation logic and master ID mapping tables across multiple data domains Define and build survivorship rules and entity resolution frameworks within Snowflake Develop and maintain SQL-based mastering logic aligned with enterprise data governance standards Document technical mastering logic and processes to ensure scalability and readiness for full-scale MDM platform adoption Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, architecture, and business stakeholders Support MDM vendor evaluation and selection, including requirements gathering and platform assessment Contribute to data modeling across master data domains such as customer, product, and vendor What We're Looking For: 3+ years of experience in Master Data Management or data engineering roles Strong proficiency in SQL with hands-on experience in Snowflake Experience designing match and merge logic, survivorship rules, and entity resolution frameworks Familiarity with data modeling and master data domains (customer, product, vendor, etc.) Experience documenting technical logic and processes for scalability and future implementation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a remote, globally distributed environment Nice to have: Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Informatica, Reltio, or equivalent Experience supporting vendor evaluation or platform selection processes Exposure to financial services or insurance data environments Why AGT Competitive CTC commensurate with experience Performance-based annual bonus Comprehensive salary structure including HRA, LTA, Medical, Transport, and Education allowances Provident Fund contributions Group medical insurance coverage Paid leaves including casual, sick, and earned leave Fully paid training and probation period
