Who we are

At Sonova, we envision a world where everyone can enjoy the delight of hearing. This vision inspires us and fuels our commitment to developing innovative solutions that improve hearing health and human connection - from personal audio devices and wireless communication systems to hearing aids and cochlear implants. We're dedicated to providing outstanding customer experiences through our global audiological care services, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to engage fully with the world around them.

Here you’ll find a diverse range of opportunities that span both consumer and medical solutions and the freedom to shape your career while making an impact on the lives of others. Join us in our mission to create a more connected world, where every voice is heard and every story matters.

As a Material Planner (m/f/d), you will take ownership of an assigned finished goods portfolio and help ensure that the right products are available at the right time and in the right quantities.

At the heart of our supply chain, you will balance demand, supply and inventory while keeping a close eye on potential shortages, delays and excess stock. You will identify risks early, initiate appropriate actions and continuously look for opportunities to improve our planning and inventory processes.

In return for your planning expertise, analytical mindset and proactive approach, you will join an international and collaborative environment where you can take ownership and make a visible contribution to the performance of our supply chain.

More about the role

  • Take responsibility for the material planning of an assigned finished goods portfolio, ensuring timely and reliable product availability
  • Monitor demand, supply, inventory levels and delivery schedules to identify potential shortages, delays and other supply risks at an early stage
  • Coordinate material supply from internal and external sources and follow up on supply issues to support timely resolution
  • Proactively manage inventory by identifying excess and shortage situations and initiating appropriate actions
  • Analyze planning and inventory data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supply chain partners to maintain a reliable flow of materials and resolve operational challenges
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and help further develop efficient planning and inventory processes

More about you

  • At least 3 years of relevant professional experience within Supply Chain, ideally in Material Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Planning, Disposition or a comparable field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with a structured, proactive and solution-oriented way of working
  • Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with SAP is a strong advantage; experience with o9 or comparable supply chain planning tools is also beneficial
  • Strong sense of ownership and the ability to identify risks, set priorities and initiate appropriate actions
  • Fluent English and good German communication skills
  • A university degree is not required – relevant professional experience and practical supply chain expertise are equally valued
