As a Materials Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of materials throughout the manufacturing process, specifically focusing on Silicon Carbide (SiC)--based materials for various electronic applications. You will be responsible for conducting material characterization, collaborating with project teams, and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in silicon carbide technology. Responsibilities Conduct research, development, and optimization of Silicon Carbide (SiC) materials for electronic applications, including semiconductors, power devices, and high-temperature electronics. Design and perform experiments to characterize and evaluate SiC materials, including material synthesis, sample preparation, and testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, engineering, and manufacturing, to develop and improve manufacturing processes for SiC materials. Investigate and solve technical issues related to SiC material performance, quality, and reliability. Stay updated with the latest advancements and trends in SiC materials, devices, and manufacturing technologies. Provide technical support to product development teams, offering expertise in SiC material properties and applications. Analyze and interpret data, prepare technical reports, and present findings to internal stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance SiC material quality, yield, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality management systems.
