The part you will play

As part of the Maternal and Child Health Team you will work closely with the internal stakeholders/Community. Working on:

• Providing the Victorian maternal and child health service program using a family centred partnership approach in accordance with the service program guidelines and standards.

• Facilitation of group work, including new parent groups, drop-in programs, and group-based initiatives

Let’s talk about you

You will thrive in this role if you:

• Hold a current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Division 1 Registered Nurse and Midwife.

• Hold Postgraduate qualifications in Child Family and Community Health- Maternal Child Health Nursing

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills to provide and deliver the Victorian Maternal & Child Health program to the diverse range of families with young children from birth to school age.

• Demonstrated knowledge of primary health care, health promotion and principals of early intervention.

• A commitment to the provision of a quality service and continuous improvement.

• Well-developed communication skills including interpersonal and written skills.
