# Math or English Curriculum Editor — for teachers with real classroom experience

## About SkillWhimsy

SkillWhimsy is a learning platform with an AI tutor that talks learners through short courses: a spoken intro, then questions with feedback on every wrong answer. Curriculum editors build and refine the material through our Curriculum Editor, an MCP tool that runs inside Claude Desktop, Claude Code or Codex. You edit by chatting, not by filling in forms.

We already have a Math curriculum and an English curriculum on the platform. Both were drafted fast. Now they need someone who's actually taught the subject and knows where real students get stuck.

## Who we're looking for

- A math or English teacher with real, hands-on teaching experience — not just interest in the subject.

- Having your own students right now is a real plus, but not a strict requirement. If you do, the best test of your work is putting it in front of them and seeing what happens.

- Comfortable with AI tools, or happy to learn. Setup takes about 15 minutes, and there's a video.

## What you'd do

- **Tune the existing Math or English curriculum.** Fix the wording, the order and the difficulty, and add images, tables and examples where a block of text doesn't teach well.

- **Test it with real learners if you have them.** Watch what they get stuck on, what they skip, whether they come back.

- **Run ads for your curriculum.** Create ad creatives for your courses (text and image) and submit them to our Facebook and Instagram campaigns, then follow visits, sign-ups and starts on your curriculum's Conversions page.

## The trial (this replaces a CV screen)

1. Register on SkillWhimsy, install the Curriculum Editor MCP (instructions on the page below), and look through the existing Math or English curriculum.

2. Pick one section and fine-tune it to a real quality bar — or build a small new course if you'd rather show your own approach.

3. If you have students, put it in front of them and tell us honestly what happened. If you don't, tell us honestly what you'd expect to happen and why.

## Compensation

Every collaboration starts at a weekly rate for about 4 hours of work:

- **€100 a week:** you keep a pool of 2–3 learners, talk to one of them each week, and write a short report on how they see the curriculum.

- **€50 a week:** you build or tune the curriculum and review others, without a running pool of learners.

Over time, your curriculum's revenue share replaces the weekly rate. 90% of what learners pay goes to curriculum editors: the first payment in full, 25% of renewals for up to 12 months, and a share of a common pool. Full details here: https://skillwhimsy.com/en/curriculum-editors
