Role Overview
MDM Functional & Governance Consultant will translate the client's business requirements into Profisee configuration and establish how the organisation will manage its master data after go-live. Acts as the bridge between business and IT, owning the functional design of the MDM solution: the data model, quality/matching/survivorship rules, approval workflows, and the data stewardship operating model.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead workshops with data owners to define what constitutes master data (customers, supply points, meters, network assets, suppliers, materials), who owns it, and which system is the source of record for each attribute
• Design the data model in Profisee — entities, attributes, relationships, hierarchies, and reference data — and document and maintain it
• Define and configure data quality, matching, and survivorship rules, tuning them against real data until they deliver reliable results
• Configure approval workflows and set up the data stewardship operating model: roles, RACI, work queues, and data quality KPIs
• Train the client's data stewards and support them through the first stewardship cycles
• Align master data definitions with the enterprise glossary and data catalogue (Microsoft Purview) and ensure GDPR compliance for personal data in scope
• Lead functional user acceptance testing together with the business
• Act as the bridge between business and IT, owning the functional design of the MDM solution end to end

What You'll Bring

• 4+ years of experience in data governance, data quality, or master data management projects
• Hands-on data modelling experience: entities, keys, hierarchies, reference data
• Working SQL for data checks and profiling
• Demonstrated experience designing and operating a data stewardship process, not just writing policies
• Ability to negotiate definitions and ownership with stakeholders across departments
• Fluent Greek and English, written and spoken

Nice to Haves

• Hands-on experience with an MDM platform (Profisee, Informatica MDM, Semarchy, Reltio)
• Microsoft Purview or another data catalogue
• DAMA CDMP certification
• Energy-sector experience: customer–supply point–meter structures, network codes, regulatory obligations
