MDS, RN Float / Remote Position: Woodlands Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center

Job Title: MDS Float / Remote Registered Nurse (RN)

Requirements:

• Current unencumbered Mississippi RN license.
• Strong working knowledge of the RAI process, current MDS 3.0 item sets, and Mississippi Case Mix.
• Working knowledge of federal and state regulatory and compliance standards related to MDS.
• Proficiency with electronic health record / MDS software.
• Reliable high-speed internet.
• Ability to work independently in a float / remote capacity.
• 3 - 5 years MDS / PDPM experience.
• RAC - CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Complete accurate, timely MDS assessments for assigned facilities.
• Apply MDS 3.0, PDPM, and Mississippi Case Mix guidelines to support correct reimbursement.
• Travel to designated Mississippi facilities as needed (typically 25% or less travel time).
