Mechanical Design engineer

Contract: Freelance or Permanent

Hybrid working: One week a month in any of the offices across the Nordics

We're looking for multiple Mechanical Design Engineers with 4-5 years of data centre design experience to join a specialist engineering team delivering mission-critical projects across the Nordics.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver mechanical systems for hyperscale and colocation data centres.
• Develop and optimise HVAC, cooling, and chilled water solutions.
• Improve design strategies to enhance performance, reliability, sustainability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and key stakeholders.
• Review technical designs and provide subject matter expertise throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 4-5 years of data centre mechanical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, chilled water, and mission-critical infrastructure.
• Experience optimising designs and delivering engineering best practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
