Develop drawings, preliminary layouts, and sketches utilizing computer-assisted design/drafting programs. Set up drawing and work with internal and external designer and drafters. Review projects with supervisor and distribute to team resources. Perform construction administration tasks. Survey and evaluate existing systems at job sites. Attend client meetings and contribute to discussions.Share project objectives with team. Be responsible for the quality of deliverables, costs, schedules, and project efficiencies. Develop relationships with clients, meet expectations, and ensure their satisfaction. Participate in business development, as required. Build relationships with external clients and meet company growth objectives. Ensure the proper execution of mechanical related projects under supervision of the supervisor. What You’ll Bring To TCG: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct industry experience in the field of mechanical building services. Retrofit experience is preferred. Diploma / Degree from a mechanical building services technical program or an engineering program. Strong leadership qualities and mentorship skills. Good working knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection Systems. Knowledge and understanding of the National Building Code of Canada and the Ontario Building Code. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a drive and ability to collaborate and problem solve as part of a team. Ability to utilize both verbal and written forms of communication to effectively communicate internally with colleagues as well as externally with clients. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects working in a fast-paced environment to meet project deadlines Must be proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office Applications. Highly motivated self-starter with an attention to detail is a must. If we are aligned, we will proceed with the following interviews: A 45-60 minute technical screen (virtually) with one of our Engineering Managers from the respective team you are applying to. A 60-minute in-person interview with both our Engineering Manager as well as our President, Sam Soltani.
