Job Description Set-up and Location : WFH Work Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM AEDT| 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM PHT Employment Type: Full-time Ready to do work that actually excites you? This position involves general responsibility for the support, design and development of new and existing products. The Draftsman/Mechanical Engineer is involved in all aspects of the product development lifecycle and all details related to assigned projects. What You'll Do: You'll be the kind of person who: Detail drafting of mechanical components and assemblies (via Windows Remote Desktop session) Generate, update, and maintain DraftSight 2D files and SolidWorks models/assemblies/parts/drawings accessed through company laptop via Remote Desktop and VPN Mechanical system design and development (pumps, hydraulic flow systems, piping, structural) with remote team input Perform testing simulations and troubleshooting of designs using virtual tools and provided data Preparation of accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) and MRP-related documents Specification of equipment and materials to suit project requirements Designing mechanical components and systems independently Preparation of complete drawing packs for review and approval Integration of mechanical designs with electrical systems (coordinating remotely with electrical team) Producing and maintaining 3D models and 2D drawings to Australian standards using SolidWorks and DraftSight · Material selection and cost control input on assigned jobs Support projects/products transitioning into production via detailed documentation and remote guidance Participate in virtual design reviews Manage own workflow across time zones, ensuring timely responses and clear communication Requirements What You Bring: We're looking for someone who: Drawings, models, and documentation delivered on time (considering time zone differences) Drawings and models produced accurately and fully compliant with Australian drafting standards BOMs prepared accurately with no errors impacting production On-time delivery of drawing packs and design documentation High-quality output with minimal revisions required from remote reviews Effective remote troubleshooting and clear resolution of design issues Timely and professional communication in all stakeholder interactions · Consistent adherence to deadlines despite working overseas and via Remote Desktop + VPN Stable and secure use of Windows Remote Desktop and VPN connection to company systems and PDM Benefits Benefits Why You’ll Love Working Here HMO, Dental, and Life Insurance for you and one free dependent from day one (with the option to enroll additional dependents) Paid Leaves: Birthday, Vacation, Medical, and Maternity (up to 6 Vacation Leaves are convertible to cash on your anniversary) Employee Engagement Activities: Year-End Party, Family Day, Team Building, and more!
