Title: Mechanical Engineer About the role: We are looking for a hands-on Mechanical Engineer who will work closely with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the product development process, from concept and prototyping to testing and production. Job Responsibilities: Support the design and development of mechanical and hardware products Create and revise 2D/3D CAD models, technical drawings, and specifications Assist with product testing and validation Apply basic Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles Support material selection and evaluate manufacturing processes Identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners Create and maintain engineering documentation, including BOMs and test reports Support tooling, sampling, and production readiness activities Review CAD files and engineering drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company standards. Perform detailed proof of checks of CAD drawings and models to verify dimensional accuracy and tolerances prior to tooling release, identifying discrepancies, and coordinating corrections with design engineers. Job Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering, product development, or manufacturing Proficiency or working knowledge of CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Onshape, or similar tools Basic understanding of materials, mechanical design, and manufacturing processes Familiarity with processes such as injection molding, tooling, machining, or assembly is an advantage Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and communication skills Willingness and ability to work a fixed night shift following a hybrid work arrangement at Silver City, Pasig Skills & Competencies: Mechanical Design: Strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes CAD & Documentation: Ability to create and interpret 2D/3D models, technical drawings, engineering proof of checks, and BOMs Problem-Solving: Ability to identify and help resolve design, quality, and manufacturing issues Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy and quality in designs and documentation Collaboration: Works effectively with product, sourcing, manufacturing, and supplier teams Learning Agility: Eager to learn and adapt in a fast-paced product development environment Success Factors: Delivers accurate and reliable engineering designs and documentation Contributes effectively to documenting, testing, and production readiness Identifies and helps resolve product and manufacturing challenges Attention to detail to maintain the products industrial design look and mechanical functionality Demonstrates continuous learning and growth in product development and manufacturing Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
