Mechanical Engineer, HVAC (MEP Design)

We're looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design HVAC and plumbing systems for commercial, institutional, and multifamily buildings in the DC area.

What you'll do

• Design HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems from schematic design through construction documents
• Run load calculations and energy models
• Produce drawings and coordinate models in Revit
• Coordinate with architects, structural, and electrical teams
• Review submittals and support construction administration

What you bring

• BS in Mechanical Engineering
• 4+ years of building systems (MEP) design experience
• Proficiency in Revit and load software (Trane TRACE, Carrier HAP, or similar)
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards and the IMC
• PE license or EIT on the path to PE preferred

Compensation

$95,000 to $135,000 base, depending on experience and licensure. Hybrid in Washington, DC. No security clearance required.
