Media Business Development Manager

DesignRush.com, a B2B Media Platform that drives brand discovery & growth, is seeking a Media Business Development Manager. The site generates over 600,000 high‑intent B2B visitors monthly. We are looking for a Media Business Development Manager with an established network of contacts across the media industry.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience in media sales or a related industry
• Ability to leverage existing relationships to generate new business
• Ability to generate and close new leads

Key Goals:

• Own the results for brand exposure and media package sales
• Position DesignRush as the go-to media partner for top brand decision-makers
• Sell media and exposure packages
• Retain and upsell relationships

This position offers a base salary and monthly bonuses. This is a full-time, remote work-from-home position.

As our clients are US-based, this position requires candidates who can work until 5 pm EST.

DesignRush is seeking to make IMMEDIATE hires.

Responsibilities:

• Generate qualified leads and close them on yearly retainers.
• Own the full Brand sales cycle: prospecting, closing, relationship management
• Set monthly and quarterly sales targets and provide reports to the executive team
• Sell contributor columns, PR campaigns, newsletters, podcast features, digital PR, and social media exposure packages
• Build trusted partnerships with key clients, increasing retention and revenue over time
• Maintain pipeline activity in CRM
• Collaborate with the marketing and Sales Ops team

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in media sales and a well-established network of industry contacts, with the ability to leverage relationships to drive business growth
• Proactive, analytical, tech-savvy, and has a growth mindset
• Must have exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written
• Has a strong drive to help customers and enhance their experience
• Experienced in working within cross-functional teams and is a true team player
• Excellent organizational skills with proficiency in CRMs (HubSpot)
• Establish a list of contacts within the media industry
• Must have a reliable computer and stable internet connection
• Able to work EST hours.
