About the Role

Resolve unpaid and denied U.S. medical insurance claims. This role requires hands-on medical accounts receivable work with U.S. payers and clear evidence of getting claims reprocessed or paid.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on unpaid claims through payer calls and insurance portals.

• Investigate denial reasons, resolve underpayments and coordinate reprocessing.

• Keep accurate claim notes, next actions and payment follow-ups.

• Maintain accuracy while managing a workload of about 250 claims per week.

Qualifications

• At least two years of hands-on medical A/R experience involving U.S. insurance payers.

• Practical experience investigating and resolving denied or unpaid medical claims.

• Hands-on use of medical billing platforms and insurance portals.

• Availability for the required U.S. Eastern schedule.

Nice to Have

Appeal preparation, prior experience handling 200 or more claims weekly, and ModMed experience. Comparable billing platforms are acceptable.

Work Schedule

U.S. Eastern business hours; exact hours confirmed during selection.
