Remote Medical Biller – US Healthcare | Night Shift

VerityMD is hiring an experienced Medical Biller who understands the complete end-to-end US healthcare billing cycle and can independently manage billing operations from patient registration through final payment.

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
• Review referral and authorization status
• Ensure accurate demographics, insurance information, and billing setup
• Review documentation and assist with ICD-10, CPT, and modifier coding
• Perform charge entry and clean claim submission
• Track claims and perform timely AR follow-up
• Work rejected, unpaid, and underpaid claims
• Manage denials, appeals, reconsiderations, and corrected claims
• Prior Authorizations
• Post and reconcile insurance and patient payments
• Identify billing errors and revenue leakage
• Understand payer policies, Medicare/Medicaid, and commercial insurance requirements
• Assist with provider credentialing, enrollment, revalidation, and payer follow-up
• Monitor aging reports and help improve collections
• Communicate with insurance companies, patients, providers, and internal teams
• Take ownership of claims from beginning to final resolution

Requirements

• 5–6+ years of hands-on US medical billing experience
• Strong knowledge of the full Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process
• Experience with:
• Eligibility and benefits verification
• Referrals and prior authorizations
• Claims submission
• Coding and modifiers
• Payment posting
• AR follow-up
• Denials and appeals
• Credentialing and payer enrollment
• Ability to independently investigate and resolve difficult billing issues
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Detail-oriented and accountable
• Experience with neurology or specialty medical practices is a plus

Work Details

Position: Full-Time, Remote

Location: Work From Home – India

Shift: 8:00 PM – 5:00 AM IST

Experience: 5–6+ years

We are looking for someone who is not limited to one part of billing. The ideal candidate understands the entire billing process and can take responsibility for an account from insurance verification and coding all the way through claim payment, denial resolution, and collections.
