Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Medical Doctor at MEDDI hub a.s. The Medical Doctor will provide telemedicine consultations via secure audio, video, and chat, offering evidence-based clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, and follow-up care. Daily responsibilities include reviewing patient histories and documentation, issuing e-prescriptions, medical confirmations, and referrals, and documenting all encounters in accordance with clinical and legal standards. The role involves coordinating care with other healthcare professionals when needed, escalating urgent cases appropriately, and contributing to continuous improvement of telemedicine protocols and digital workflows. The Medical Doctor will also provide feedback on the MEDDI platform to optimize usability, safety, and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Valid medical degree (MD or equivalent) and full license to practice medicine in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Strong clinical experience in primary care or a medical specialty (e.g., internal medicine, family medicine, pediatrics, or relevant field).
• Demonstrated ability to conduct remote consultations, including clinical assessment, triage, and follow-up via phone, video, or chat.
• Excellent patient communication skills, including the ability to explain diagnoses, treatment options, and next steps clearly and empathetically.
• Comfort with digital tools, electronic health records, and telemedicine platforms; willingness to learn new technologies.
• Strong organizational skills, reliability in documentation, and adherence to clinical guidelines, data protection, and privacy regulations.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and collaborate with a distributed multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage.
• Experience in telehealth, digital health projects, or healthcare innovation is a plus.
• Availability to work scheduled shifts that may include evenings or weekends, depending on service needs.
