Job Title: Lead Engineer – Medical Imaging (Canada)

Location: Canada (Remote/Hybrid)

Required Skills & Experience

• 5-9 years of experience in software development with healthcare or medical imaging applications.
• Hands-on experience with DICOM, DICOM Structured Reports (SR), Ultrasound (US), and MR/MRI imaging workflows.
• Strong understanding of PACS/RIS, imaging interoperability, and radiology workflows.
• Proficiency in Angular and TypeScript for enterprise-scale web applications.
• Experience working with NX Monorepo architecture.
• Hands-on experience with PrimeNG UI framework.
• Strong backend development experience using Python.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Cognito, S3, DynamoDB, and Lambda.
• Experience with AWS Amplify for application orchestration and deployment.
• Strong experience with Docker and containerized application development.
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, scalability, and security best practices.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.

Nice to have:

• DICOM web, HL7/FHIR, React, PostgreSQL, Jenkins, AWS Fargate, and healthcare/life sciences domain experience.

Key Requirement:

• Candidates must demonstrate verifiable project experience in DICOM-based imaging solutions, particularly involving Structured Reports, Ultrasound, and MR imaging tools/workflows.
