Medior/Senior AI/LLM Developer

We are looking for a Medior/Senior AI/LLM Developer to join our team focused on building innovative AI-powered solutions. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience developing applications powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) and designing agent-based (agentic) systems for real-world business use cases. You will be responsible for developing and deploying production-ready AI solutions that go beyond traditional prompt-response interactions, incorporating tool orchestration, memory management, planning, and decision-making capabilities. Responsibilities Design, develop, and deploy AI solutions powered by Large Language Models (LLMs) Build and improve agentic workflows and AI agent architectures Develop robust prompt engineering strategies and evaluation frameworks Integrate LLM solutions with APIs, databases, vector stores, and external services Design scalable, reliable, and high-performance AI systems for production environments Monitor, evaluate, and optimize model performance using defined metrics Improve latency, cost efficiency, reliability, and security of AI solutions Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to deliver impactful AI applications Stay up to date with emerging AI technologies, LLMs, agent frameworks, and industry best practices Requirements 2–5 years of professional experience in software development, machine learning, or applied artificial intelligence Strong proficiency in Python, including asynchronous programming, API integrations, and data pipelines Hands-on experience building LLM-powered applications in production environments or advanced prototypes Strong understanding of LangChain, LangGraph, or similar AI orchestration frameworks Experience with prompt engineering, tokenization, context management, and LLM limitations Experience integrating APIs, microservices, and cloud-based solutions Solid understanding of software development best practices, including testing, version control, and CI/CD Excellent English communication skills Nice to Have Experience with AI agents and agent-based architectures Experience working with open-source LLMs such as Hugging Face and vLLM Experience with vector databases and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems Knowledge of LLM evaluation, observability, benchmarking, and monitoring Experience optimizing AI systems for latency, cost efficiency, reliability, and security Experience designing advanced agentic systems involving planning, tool usage, and orchestration Experience with Voice AI technologies, including speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice orchestration Ability to explain complex AI concepts and system behavior to non-technical stakeholders What We Offer Remote work with one day in the office per week A collaborative environment that values individuals and encourages knowledge sharing The opportunity to be part of a casual yet highly professional team Competitive salary based on your experience and skills Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Flexible work arrangements and a family-friendly culture Private health insurance, including an annual health check-up Modern equipment and technology to support your work Team-building events and company gatherings Internal referral bonus program Since 2007, Alterset has been at the forefront of software innovation.
